It being a text-based adventure game with no audio means usually I have to have a playlist of music and ambient noises in the background to help my ADHD ass read. I normally just look up a Final Fantasy Lo-Fi playlist that someone made on youtube and have that playing but I was curious what ya'll listen to when you're going through the story and having sexy adventures.

Podcasts. Mainly political and history podcasts. I turn it off when I focus on reading a scene.

this is decidedly not standard, but i read the combat sessions to like linkin park and shit, heavy rhythmic screamo, etc, but I handle the horny interludes similarly as you
Oh, for the combat/dungeon parts I use FF14 music for just because there's a lot of stuff that feels like it fits. I fought through the Winter City and Dracia Keep while playing the Heavensward Music because "Cold Northern Kingdom largely inhabited by Elves who have history with Dragons" as well as Lumia being a big thing in the Winter City's history and culture reminded me of Ishgard's Patron Deity, Halone.

For chill vibes Glass Animals' Zaba album for the chill "The Island of Doctor Moreau" vibes that fit games with transformation, or a 10 hour mix of the jazz cover of Fragrance of Dark Coffee from Ace Attorney. Hype stuff, listening to "Blood and Guts: Passionate" while fighting the Winter Wolf quest's horde or the arena is pretty ascendant. Other than that, whatever shitty punk band I'm into at the time or the electronic/breakcore/jungle/edm mix slop Youtube feeds me.
