Steele may kill, but only in certain events/situations. Even a Hard personality Steele isn't a murderhobo like a D&D character, Warhammer 40k Commisar or an Elder Scrolls protagnist.

I second the notion! The murder boner is still a boner damn it, and it deserves to be stroked like all the other fetishes on here! Or better yet add something similar to the sadism perk from the first Coc. I think that would be a good compromise.

Anyway,"guro" comes from the Japanese approximation to the English word "grotesque". Whilst it may include erotised killings, ryona or Dolcett-like stuff, it may also include the likes of body modification, parasitism... Thusly, many things on the Fengames could be deemed as guro.
I'm mostly going off of what I've seen in the CoC modding community. Back when 8chan still existed the threads had devolved into pretty much 80% guro fans brainstorming really violent "sex" scenes with demons and the like. Granted, I guess you could make the argument that was as bad as it was because it was 8chan.
That's cool, but colloquially guro (with regards to porn at least) almost specifically refers to gore and over the top violence, sometimes with sexuality mixed in. If you were to show TiTs to almost any guro community they'd probably pretty heartily disagree with you.

I don't know if things have changed, but I used to frequent Gurochan back in the day and CoC (TiTS was in its infancy) was often namechecked on the Freakshow sub-board, and sometimes on the Discussion and RP ones.

It's a moot point anyway, killer content is right up there on the blacklist of content for Fen games.
I mean even IF a murder option is added what's the end game.
Unless a mechanic is added to remove enemies after you've killed a number of them they'll still be there regardless.
Killing an NPC will realistically only lead to a bad end where someone bangs/impregnates you in Gastigoth for years so no point there.
As much as I'd like the option to remove things that annoy me sometimes there's no point really. Especially since the game is still in development so what annoys me now could be fixed later.

IDK why you're talking about 'bait' it isn't, at least to me. I just like the idea of thinning the herd. Especially when it comes to xeno star-slime. Personally I like the idea of being able to kill the Myr, Nyrea, Naleen, Venus Pitchers, Zil, Raskvel, Sydians, Vanae, Jumpers, Rat thieves (these ones especially, I hate them so much), Cyberpunk Sec Ops, Korgonnes, and Milodans. Or at the very least, be able to enslave and sell them with something similar to Julian Haswell's capture harnesses, especially if the faction system gets implemented and you're able to join the Black Void. Because late game encounters are really just more of an annoyance than a challenge, especially the Rat Thieves, if nothing else, I want to be able to put a gun in their fucking ears and splatter their annoyingly evasive mousy bullshit brains all over the fucking ground. To answer any questions, I don't want to be able to kill npc's, that's not even on the table for me, I just want to be able to make encounters less common, or even rare via bloody means.
