Would you play TiTS if there was no porn in it? Would it still be the same game? What would be considered too erotic for kids? Would tease attacks still be available? I've seen implied sex in young adult books so it's possible to still have that included in some way, shape, or form.

Considering how much of the content is fetishy shopkeepers and fuckable enemies (and even how the design focuses on that sort of thing over gameplay) it's really too much of a sexual playground for the RPG parts to stand on their own. All the best writing in the game is the sex stuff, too; the SFW parts also lean heavily on the porn stuff to support them and aren't nearly as strong.

Some adult games do just have the sex scenes as a bonus; Fenoxo's games are designed from the foundations to be porn. You can't remove the skeleton and expect the rest to stay up.

I am a straight female who plays TiTS for the customization and the adventure (I couldn't care less about Steele Tech, the probes and Steele's cousin... and sci-fi is not my first setting choice), so yes, I do and I would.

As for the other questions... "Entice" is a Final Fantasy ability after all!

Like, if TiTS from the start was just gonna be a text RPG or what we have right now sans smut? Both those options I'd probably spend 10-20 minutes playing and then forget about it. Even if TiTS at the start was geared towards a cool sci-fi story and game play, no one (IMO) would really wanna play an early access RPG, and game as it is now sans smut would likely be cut by more than half of its content and would be boring as.

Eh, hard to say. Take TLS, for example. It's barely a porn game; like 10% smut. And even that it's only written scenes, and pretty low on the fetish fuel scale, at least on the internet.

But damn is it a good game. I treat it like a regular game with lewd stuff added in rather than the other way around.

So since I have confidence in the ability of most of the games' writers to write good SFW content, my answer is yes.

No, you're really getting the cart before the horse here. Steele is a blob because a) many people are into TFing as a fetish and b) it enables players to craft exactly the character they want to be involved in the fucken. If the game simply displayed a choice between being male, female or herm at the beginning and left it at that, the core gameplay would remain more or less the same - and plenty of players will tell you that they barely bother transforming their character at all. Body customisation is a component of the porn, not the other way around.

Theoretically, yes? But what I was getting at in my previous reply is that without the porn there isn't enough of substance to hold it up. You would absolutely need a new focus, as well as better plotting and more gameplay systems. I would hold a non-porno RPG to a far higher standard, because I would be playing it without my dick in my hand.

TiTs as is wouldn't work without the porn no. As people have said there's too much that hinges on it in some way. That said I think most of the talent behind the game could make something fun and worthwhile. The game would need to focus on other things. All that said, I prefer the game as is. Sexy first, sci-fi second. I like how a decent amount of thought goes in to the background and lore of the universe. It makes the game world feel more substantial than "hop in, fuck bitches, get money hop out". However I also like that it's a world that just so happens to have a lot of sex and sexy things all over the place. That aspect helps give the game it's own personality.

TL;DR: could all the creatives behind TiTs make a sfw game that's fun? Yes. Should they? I wouldn't knock it, but I'd prefer they didn't.

Would be nice to see text game like TiTS without much porn or well all of it hidden well enough so only those who played extensively know where to look for it. Bad luck is curret TiTS is smut game with added rpg elements not rpg with added smut parts. So only non-smut version would be literaly only skin of old game.

Well, I actually like the ideas behind TiTS.
They have good writers and a decent system, so, yes, I would play it if it would be SFW (or only have some mild fanservice).
In fact, I might enjoy it more, since the energy of the writers would be focused on more ..fetish-less stories and thus it would have more content for someone who does not share much of the written fetishes (or is extremly moody when it comes to fetishes).

It helps that there is a lack of original IPs in SciFi stuff - especially for someone like me who just uses a business notebook without any real graphiccard =P

I don't know it depends on how customizable the character would be. Being able to modify my character into whatever I want is one of the reasons I get so obsessed with Tits every three months or so. Also if you're not gonna be naked most of the time, I'd probably like more practical fashion options than just jumpsuits.
