Windows 10

Haven't got Windows 10 yet and was wondering what I need to look at once I get it.

I remember someone commentating on the old forum about how some tracking thing needed to be turned off or something.

Or someone else mentioning RPG maker not working. Is this true?

Can anyone recommend what I should implement or remove?

Do not touch 10. It is complete shit that will black out your PC for playing games on it, no joke. That shit basically made me force restart my PC after I played any game because windows would crash completely.

If you're planning on get Windows 10, I would recommend getting a new PC as the drivers might be entirely designed to work with Windows 10.

I had no problems with it though. If you have a PC that came pre-installed with Windows 8.1, go ahead and upgrade to Windows 10.

I use Windows 7 so how would changing to 10 affect me?

I upgraded to 10 from 7 a while back and I haven't had any problems with it. Heck, if anything I've seen an increase in performance and the computer boots up so much faster now.

Unfortunately you are correct in that there are a number of things you should disable. I found this guide is a good one to help you through that.
