Will we ever get to overthrow the cooperate system?

One strong theme of the game is the abuse of power the elites of society have over the common man and the shameless exploitation of other planets, and the bodies of aliens who reside on those planets. The first planet has you witnessing a strike for the Zil if you capture them for Dr. Julian. The game even references real world abusive corporations by having a Nestle reference in Snuggle. When you turn in RK Lah he references Heart of Darkness. a book based off real life abuse and exploitation in the congo! This all culminates in Dhaal where the entire planet is being run by several corporations doing morally reprehensible shit behind the scenes while controlling the fate of the poor folk who have little to no say on how the planet is run. There's no option to refuse to side with or give power to any side of the conflict. Your character just moves on while the Dhaal continues to suffer and the cooperate capitalist machine keeps turning!

I hope there will be an option to dismantle this system or at least do something to inhibit the exploitation you see! It's nice that you can side with RK Lah but I hope there's an option to do that again in the future but on a larger scale.

You're not going to get to overthrow capitalism in this game, no. The machinery of exploitation is simply too big and too powerful to stop, even for the ultimate space badass. TiTS is at its heart a spaceborne cyberpunk setting, and cyberpunk depicts a world where any hope of overthrowing capitalism has been permanently crushed, it is an inevitable and unbeatable force.

What you can do with your immense wealth and privilege is make your own fiefdom a comfortable and non-exploitative place to live in, and the game gives you a substantial number of opportunities to do this.

Your walls
Honestly as cool as tearing down the machine is, I do always love games that let you become super rich or influential and then use that wealth and power to help people, just because you can.

Paying for a blind lady to get new eyes is my power fantasy. So is freeing slaves, curing chronic medical conditions, replacing people's lost limbs, so on and so forth.

According to Adjatha, siding against the corpos was proposed as one of the optional paths for the Dhaal dungeon, but it was ultimately cut to streamline things.

FWIW, I think omitting that option makes sense for this game. Genre conventions of a cyberpunk dystopia aside, it's just a bit difficult to justify why a nepo baby like Captain Steele would suddenly become anticapitalist in any meaningful way. Sure, Steele's character is mostly up to the player's imagination and it's not completely unheard of for the children of the ultra-rich to break ranks with their parents, but we rarely if ever see any evidence of that happening in-game. At best, Steele will end up following in their father's footsteps (i.e. be a "nice" capitalist but ultimately still a capitalist)
