So I wonder if Eryka will be joining in our group for future updates. I would like to see more of her abilities

Because of how companions work, Eryka was never going to become one; There isn't a writer left who meets the conditions to write a companion that could adopt her.
There are going to be more companions, but not many and they're not in the game at all yet. William is writing mousegirl thief Einin and B is writing phoenix lady Agnimitra (in addition to taking over Berwyn) and you can check out their topic (starting here) if you want a sneak peek of what's involved with the latter.

Aww, that sucks. I was hoping that recruiting her could help us to our cause since I did help her out of removing Kasyrra curse. Maybe spark some motivation in her since the champion and our companions had done so many deeds in Hawkethorne and other place while she felt could’ve done more as paladin.
Maybe sparring the champion could gained some confidence and train the other paladins.
Oh well… I’ll throw that potential idea in the trash bin.
I’ll go look into two members.

Considering how slow Franks is when it comes to writing content for her and how bare bones Eryka is atm, yeah he should meet all the criteria to have a companion slot.
Yeah Eryka companion not happening.
B! has submitted Agni. I have high hopes that she'll be approved without issue.
Hopefully Will can finish Einin before the deadline but if not she'll still make a cool NPC.

Eh, only companions that I feel you can say that for are Quin, Atugia and Berwyn (and he is getting expansion).
Cait has most obviously, Wsan did fill both Brint and Brieene with content (not counting stuff other writers wrote) and while they certainly did not get any major expansion in over 2 years, people seemed satisfied. Ryn was suffering short while there but than Aly came amd basically adopted half of her. But even than, a lot of events are related to her so she never really feels left out . Azy was last companion released and she has lot to her so yeah, I do not think it is fair to compare her to rest of the cast. Arona just got major mayternity content and she gets sprinkled here and there. Kiyoko is most popular companion and second to Cait in terms of overall writing. And as stated, Berwyn is getting his time to shine.
Only ones that I feel got really left out are Atugia and Quin. Yeah, former did get her fare share of stuff in recent expansion but I feel that should have been there from the start.
And latter... Man I do not fucking know. All of his recent releases were by Tobs and Wsan. What was last thing Bubs wrote for him? That prelude to bunny on bunny sex? I am ferring the worst.

Such a shame for a potential character as a Erkya to be a companion.
Oh well, can’t wait to see what Einin and Agni can do?
