Why NOT use offspring somehow?

So i just saw a thread with a suggestion. The idea was use offspring in some capacity, rather than just having a scoreboard in the nursery. It seems like a good suggestion to me, although not the most pressing concern(I think the next thing alder should do is get rid of "placeholders"). 


But the thread was closed, and the reason it was closed was because the moderator on the forum didn't agree with it. That seems very wrong. why close a thread simply because you don't agree with it? It didn't look like such a bad idea.

This is one of the cases where "you want it, you write it" is applicable.

LD, even if it was written, it wouldn't get in. The previous thread wanted to use spawn in combat, have a whole new class, and other crap along those lines.


This isn't FS. Crap like this will never get in.
