Why is 100 Corruption still possible when soulbound?

With 100 corruption you have demonic status, but when you soulbind you lose the ability to lose your soul and become a demon. I think it would make more sense to have corruption stop at 99 much like when you use the Ring of Fate. Sort of like a representation that you can be corrupted but you can never go over that last hurdle again. Feel like this would make more sense to have so you don't have to include an additional function to take into account soulbinding for 100 corruption soul loss bad ends, too.

You do not actually become a demon at 100 Corruption. It's just a warning that you're effectively as corrupt as a demon would be.

Oh I understand that, I guess I didn't word it right? But the status specifically calls you "Demonic" which is kind of misleading a little.
In addition to that, the point of Keros (and presumably others once they happen) giving you a counterfeit soul is so that writers don't have to specifically account for soulbinding when it comes to Bad Ends, though they can still choose to.
So you still can get 100 corruption bad ends while soul bound? That's kind of odd.

It is technically proper use of the word. "Of, relating to, or suggestive of a demon" essentially, demon-like and not actually a demon. Much like something can be fiendish without being a fiend. Monstrous without being a monster, and so on.
