Why can't you Retry a failed dungeon fight more than once anymore?

I've just noticed that there seems to be a new limit to how many times you can retry any given dungeon fight. Rather than being allowed to retry as many times as you want, you now get kicked back to the main meny after only one retry

What's the point of that? Can that be removed, or at least put in as an option? I don't play this game for the challenge, and being kicked back to the main menu and forcing me to redo the entire fucking dungeon over and over again is the most annoying shit I've come across in this game so far

Ahh, that's very good to know

I was pretty confused since it didn't show up in any patch notes either
