Hi. Firstly, sorry to be a bother but I made a forum account specifictly to ask this question. Big fan of the games. I dont really know what im doing so I figured I may as well try something. Hell, even sent basically a copy of this message to a bunch of people whose names I recognized, hoping to cause enouph of a stir to get a straigt answer from someone. I just have a question about CoC2 that I was wondering and didn't know who to ask. Just figured id ask, but by no means feel free to ignore me. Im doing a Kitsune run of CoC2 and just became Keros champion. But I can no longer change forms. From an in universe perspective this doesn't make sense, and I was wondering if someone could tell me why this is, or (I know probably not) maybe somehow get the ball rolling on a patch to change this. It just doesn't make sense for the champion of Keros to not be able to shapeshift when..
Keros very much can, shifting genders and forms on a whim, having even spent a number of years as a Tanuki noodle seller
Kiyoko can, possessing the ability to turn into a regular fox in order to be hunted down and "played with."
Kohaku shapeshifts every time she leaves the Den to trade in other settlements in order to avoid trouble. That Caithrit selling merchandise in Cor Minnos looks veeeery familiar.
It makes no sense to me that Keros own champion can not do what other kitsune can, especially when the champion had the ability to do so before becoming soulbound to Keros.
Im sorry to bother you with this and I totally get if you just ignore me. I just kinda want the ability to be a shapeshifting Kitsune. I think a large part of the fun of these games is the ability to change yourself into whatever form you like, and I dont really get why that would get cut off when you become a race that is capable of doing that.
