It clears when you leave the Collar sub-menu.
I notice there's no space between the added sentences.
A worn Collar is mentioned twice, at the end of the face/head paragraph, and at the very bottom. The 1st isn't changed when Collar status does, the 2nd is only seen in the Collar sub-menu. Wings go to their own page, automatically clearing the overall description. Perhaps Collar should, too.
