So this talk made me check the New Texas grav cuffs scenes. I have to say I'm rather disappointed at the male one, both from its implausibility as well as the stereotypical dialogue it features. It sounds like something from a bad doujinshi, which was made worse with the inclusion of "excited lines" like "Oh god, your rear end is totally impaled on his fleshy rod!" or "H-how can you endure such an assault from two directions?". I dunno, s-senpai~?

Dem bulls are just old-fashioned, paying their respects to the time-honored tradition of cheesy porn dialogue.

That's true, often to the point of hilarity. If I ever see another "petite keister" again, I'm so calling it quits.

For me the word callipygian is the main perpetrator, because it doesn't have a concise translation to Russian, and because of that, it breaks the flow of the scene for me every single time. So no big butts for my Steele.

TiTS made me learn of that word. Your statment allowed me to learn that said word exists in my language after some Googling. I guess this is one of the reasons why I prefer text smut games to visual ones.

Yes, if Jim has a fault as a writer it's his tendency to fall back rather heavily on anime tropes when inspiration lacks. I avoid this by never watching anime ever.


I may do a little project similar to the flat chest mission in the new year and rustle up some new descriptors, particularly for small body parts. It's a problem that's existed since the beginnings of CoC.

I find the cheesy dialogue endearing but then again I'm not trying to toss off whilst actively reading this stuff so there's that. Same reason I'll always miss Gats doing character art, because I tend to marathon games I play and the cute character art or in this case silly animu porn dialogue cuts through the giant dose of smut I'm deciding to engage in and serves as a bit of a palette cleanser.

See, I can understand your point. Different strokes for different folks. I personally like that cheesiness, that over the topness. It does it for me. I can completely understand why it doesn't work for you though. 


There also used to be a problem where in the line where the bulls would say "Your ass and pussy belong to us" they'd say things like "Your hand-filling ass and elastic gash belong to us" which was kind of hilarious.

It's just I am tired of finding those clichéd lines in every smut piece I come across. I aknowledge they have a charm for a quick scene (and they kinda fit the NT environment, which is what matters in the end), but they kinda ruin my mood when I am actively seeking for a scene I might like but requires your character being so and so to proc, just like these grav cuffs ones. Neither CoC nor TItS are paragons of writing, but their scenes tend to do a good job of veering away from cheesiness and stating the obvious. So I guess I am glad that the already cringeworthy "Your ass and pussy belong to us" doesn't fall into that crowning gem of a funnyfest anymore.


Also, my character is not a whore. As far as I know, the game doesn't have a prostitution system yet


Anyway, it seems this thread is taking the opposite route. Perhaps we should open a thread on what one doesn't like, just like that "bonerkillers & cunnydriers" thread the old forum hosted.

In my very humble layman's opinion, his tendency to overuse parser calls is a much bigger problem.
