Greetings once again. I have been wondering how many others have backstories for the champions they have created.

My champ is a 7’5ft male Lupine soldier named Loghain. He came to the Marches from a crumbling city in the Belharam empire. He worked as a mercenary and bodyguard for a wealthy merchant. Guarding him, his caravan, and his daughter from bandits and other things on the road with a small band of other mercenaries. Despite his intimidating appearance, Loghain is actually a very sweet, caring person. He formed a close bond with the merchant's daughter, and the two ended up sleeping together. Soon finding out the merchant was furious and disgusted. Putting a bounty on Loghains head, he had little choice but to flee. Believing the Marches would be the best place to hide and blend in, he left Belharan and went to the marches.

Something I should note is that I imagine Lupines being rare outside the Marches. Many people outside the marches believe them to be wild animalistic savages. So you can imagine this merchant was none too happy about a savage sleeping with his daughter.

My champion is a 5'9" male human named Midan. Midan came from a wealthy city in the Belharan empire where he works as a courtesan. Despite him being a man, his good looks, charm, and friendly personality makes him favorable among different clientele. However, Midan also moonlights as a thief. That paired with his profession makes Midan a skilled one, with his charm making it easy for him to pickpocket and to steal money and valuables from clients after a lengthy session. But one day, Midan meets a regular client of his. A wealthy man who has developed an interest in other men. While the two are in the bedroom becoming intimate, a woman bursts into the room revealing to be the man's wife. It turns out the client is actually married to a powerful noble family and the wife accuses Midan of soliciting her husband. Fearing retribution, Midan quickly fled from the city, and jumped onto a wagon heading towards the Frost Marches as he thinks it would be the perfect place for him to lay low.

I originally wanted Midan to be a femboy but the game's character creator made it impossible for that.

My champion is 6'6 female human named Bambi, she is a noble scion of a marquis, whose vast wealth left from their ancestors is slowly but steadily declining, hailing from one of the many cities that became from the fall of Belhar. Bambi was showing great talent in dancing and singing. Her family wasn't really interested in her talents or individual opinions, since she was the third daughter and was only considered a trading piece. One day she overheard the maids gossiping about how a duke would come to visit their humble marquis family, and that he was known to pick the girls he liked to "take in as his daughters companions" so they should be careful and not be seen by him. When he arrived Bambis father decided to befriend the duke by giving him his third daughter, that was the night Bambi packed whatever she could into a tiny bag, not much since it would be noticed otherwise, the only extra things she took was a flute her music teacher gave her, and she set off to the marches.

In my head canon she has a very specific kinda iridescent blond hair that she hides using her dancers robes, since the iridescent quality was considered to come from a high ranking fairy heritage, which is what allowed her family to maintain a noble status, and for the duke to consider her worthy, despite having a very bad governing for three generations already.

Valda Lex or Val'Lex (not a surname, her parents couldn't agree on her name) A 5'9” human pure-Champ, DnD alignment Neutral/Good I guess. She's built like brick-shithouse and very gay.

Coming from a small hunting village in the northlands she was taught how to fight by her parents from their own soldier/adventurer background. Also taught to read and write by the one elder witch who actually could. It was a place that saw humans and wyldelves along with beastfolk traders. Travelling bards and merchants filled her head with the knowledge of amazing new places. As a teen her parents eventually left to find fortune again so they can settle in an actual town of note. Valda stayed for a doomed crush on another girl that went nowhere. So at adulthood she grew tired of the same woods and came to the marches to loot ancient forgotten artefacts, or try and become a merc' in Tychris or Khor'Minos (or settle for this little place called Hawkthorn she heard of). Then there was this storm...

She has a strong sense of community for those around her, a thing she inherited from home. Likely the most average common-as-muck background for this world. lol
