What happened to Galomax tentacle cocks?

I remember "tentacle" being a goo shifted penis transformation option, but now it doesn't seem to be there. Is this a bug, or was there a problem with it that caused it to be disabled? Will it be coming back? I looked around on the forum, but all I could find was other references to the fact that it was a thing, but none mentioning that it had been disabled, or why.

I just checked in the latest public build (0.6.86) and it's there, right above the Back button.

I just checked in the latest public build (0.6.86) and it's there, right above the Back button.

That's bizarre. I'm on 0.6.86 and the option above 'Back' is Gabilani, and above that is Snake-like. At first, I thought Snake-like was tentacle, but it's not. The description is "Unlike a human penis, the shaft is patterned with multiple bulbous bumps to stimulate potential partners, and the whole of its length is glossy and smooth." and its flags are: Smooth, Tapered, Naga. The flags for tentacle cocks are: Prehensile, Flared, Lubricated.

From left to right, top to bottom, the choices I have are: Terran, Canine, Feline, Kui-tan, Snake-like (which is bumpy and isn't prehensile - not tentacle), Gryvain, Equine, Vulpine, Demonic, and Gabilani. On the next page, it's Hradian, and that's all.

It seems that unlike most other menus, the one for penis goo shifts is generated without the greyed out options. In any case, NotYourNorl has nailed down the answer - seeing the Codex entry for  Venus Pitchers is what unlocks the tencacle sick goo shift.

That is crazy! I was wondering why there were so many missing options. Weeird. Thanks guys!

It's so strange because the tentacle dick doesn't even have the same flags as Venus Pitcher penises. Tentacle has Prehensile, Flared, and Lubricated, while Venus Pitcher has Prehensile and Tapered. It seems that the goo shifted tentacle penis is the same as Cockvines. I wonder if the codex for Cockvines unlocks tentacle too.

It's also weird that Nyrea wasn't an unlocked option for me because I hadn't read the codex... even though one of my cocks was Nyrean. And I don't mean that it was a grayed out option because my penis was already that shape, I mean it wasn't in the list at all. Apparently you have to read about your dick before you know what it is. LOL

What an obscure requirement. Like I know that viewing the codex enables lots of things, but the game usually tells you.

Well sometimes actualy viewing certain codex entries helps much to make some otpion accesable> I think it's still a thing that PC can get one more option in Tavira fight after reading only Nyrea codex. Or speaking to that nyrea male before palace. It's a good thing to add such variety but sometimes pople will be in temporal derpy mode and not noticing it's needed to get something.
