What are your gripes/criticism of TiTs?

But I do very frequently wonder who the characters with 8 tits, dick nipples, ear vaginas, etc. are for exactly. Like, are those popular? Is this playerbase freakier than I give it credit for? Or is it more that the writers feel like it and nobody's really complained?
I think it is a mix of both, honestly. The writers write the freakiest shit one mortal could come up with, and most of the time it hits the spot for someone out there, so they keep on doing it

But, yeah, sometimes you just have to look at something that ended up on the game and wonder what on sweet jesus name were they cooking (cough cough Rodenian codex entry cough cough)

I mean, I like big monstrous enemies and characters. Settings where all the aliens and mutants and whatnot are just humans with blue/green skin are boooring.

Hides my giant 6 tit, 4 dicked, 5 tentacle tail dick breeding monstrosity...

Both. I mean why look normal when the game allows me the freedom to give my dickgirl character jumbo dick nipples. Now ear vaginas, is that really in game? I've been away for a hot year, love to know.

Not that I'm kinkshaming, but for me there comes a point where it stops being hot and starts being body horror. There are also designs that are theoretically appealing, but suffer due to whacky proportions or having too much going on visually.

As for ear vaginas, there's Rodenians and the fox guy on Zheng Shi whose name I don't remember. In the lounge on the upper floor.

I'm fully aware you're not kink shaming. No worries bud. Just saying the body horror just is what people like me are totally into — just how we're wired. Sad the game doesn't allow for those body types to be nixed for regular body types to keep folks like you satisfied buuuut doubt the devs took in account how the average person would feel about dick nipples and oversized proportions during development. Should've been a togglable option for sure.

Ty for the info about rodenians tho.

Some people wanted to include them onto Rodenian TFs, but so far there appears that none got accepted. Probably because a whole new genital configuration would probably need some extra coding and scenes being written for it

Yeah, ear vaginas on the PC would be incompatible with just about every penetrative sex scene in the game to my knowledge. They're all written with the genitals being on the crotch or occasionally the tail.

Oh that's cool. I just wondering if there any content in general involving ear vages. lol

I mean, the rodenian girls in game can be fucked in the ears. Either the pureblood rodenian girls in the rat thief encounters or Walnut and Chestnut up at Cherry's place on the entertainment floor of Zheng Shi.

I don't know if this is the best way to say it, but the last few planets, combat has felt really...damage spongy? It might just be late game rpg stuff, but I guess s combat just isn't that fun anymore. Got all these psionic powers and some solid weapons to go with them but the easiest way to win seems to just keep spamming Tease damage?

Maybe I'm just build wrong or took the wrong perks while leveling, but been experiencing this for a while. Like the game is still fun side content and finding new dialogue, but once I know new combat encounters feel like smacking a sponge.

I guess I should clarify, it feels like the most random encounters. I get enemy resistances and all but some encounters it feels like how I've actively made my Steele just doesn't matter. I hope I'm explaining this right.

Ah sht guess where I'm going, then. Btw I know I'm late to respond so I'll say I've never made it that far in Zheng Shi. I recall completing these two boss fights on the first floor and wasn't sure where to go from there, so I took a break from the game, only for this one update to delete my previous save; starting me over from scratch. That was during my no cheat run, too, so I took another break from the game. Guess I have a new motivation to make it back to Zheng Shi. Thanks.

What are your Perks/Stats/Equipemnt? There are ways to do some nutty damage. Entropic Leech -> Gravity Crush can two-round most things, for example. Even smaller enemies.
Freezing and Corrosive are good damage types on Phaedra.

I think I've got some solid gear and stats, but I think part of my issues is with Steele running solo it's easier to feel that damage spongey-ness when it comes to differences in damage types vs CoC2 where you're in a party that can pick up the slack if the enemy is resistant to something you're doing. And to be fair, I'm running custom made gear from Dhaal to supplement the kinetic powers, so that's probably part of the issue.

1. You haven't maxed out any of your stats, especially Willpower. It's usually better to focus on two stats and max them out in this game because of the way status attacks work. For example, your powers are 30% less likely to land any status effects than if you had 70 Will (If my math is correct). If the difference between attack stat and defender stat is high enough, you can have 0 (or 100%) chance. If you want to use weapons as a Kineticist, taking Third Eye Aim and maxing Intelligence is more efficient than boosting Physique and Aim (though high Phys does protect against certain status attacks). Phys/Aim(/Int) are also factored into weapon Accuracy and damage, so you miss more often and do less damage if they're low.
2. Custom Psi Weapons have a major random component to their stats. Your level also determines their stat budget, so it's better to make them at Level 13.
3. You might be using a damage type that's widely resisted. Like I said, Freezing and Corrosive are your best bets on Phaedra and are good on Dhaal, too.
4. If that Reflexes penalty is because of Bulky Belly, you can negate it with Thraggen Harness.

A Custom Weapon I recommend is Hammer>Lucinite>Kirkite>Lucinite. This produces a weapon with high (preferably 45%) Crit and Freeze Chance. Deep Impact makes each Crit a Stun threat that works through Shields, it can inflict Deep Freeze, doubling the next hit and Haste lets you attack 2x per round. Deep Impact works off Willpower vs Physique, though.

PS: If you have Instinctive Psyfocus, you need 125 Libido to max it out. It's effectiveness is also based on your maximum Willpower, so installing the Sensory Dampener Implant is a net gain, despite the loss of Libido.

PPS: If you want to gripe about spreading your points to make a well-rounded character being a mistake, I'd agree. Not sure how to fix it, though, besides the stat training that's already possible.

You gotta train your stats up. It's not the only reason you're struggling, but it's one of 'em. https://wiki.smutosaur.us/TiTS/Stat_gain_by_source

Physique and Willpower especially are pretty easy to train. Get a membership at the gym on New Texas or recruit Ramis to your crew, and start pumpin' iron.

I'll try that. I will admit, I think this particular character is modded because they were originally a tech specialist and I just modded them to swap them to kineticist back when they first introduced the class so that might be why the stats are off and also, like you hit on, I did try to keep a balanced character. it's just instinct for me lol

so I'll tinker around some more at you and Punccline's advice because y'all are good advisers with stuff like this. But thanks for the info and help.

Edit/Update: I was able to make some time to test this out and so far I am feeling a bigger difference, so egg on my face for not building right and contributing to my own problem right lol

I have no idea if it worked better for you, but I know one time I used save editing to try and change my Steele's class mid playthrough and it was INCREDIBLY scuffed. Lots of skills and passives just didn't work flat out.

Maybe I got lucky, but things seem to work just fine. Just a bit of a hassle learning and remembering how to do things. Digging up old forum posts that luckily still work and fiddling with the save editor a bit at a time. But so far, no major issues I've noticed. But after just a few test encounters with the latest reset and other steps recommended, I am getting a noticeable positive change, which is great. Looking for some tougher encounters to really put the updated stats and stuff through its paces but so far, 2-3 rounding I guess the "standard" enemies on Phaedra atm, so I consider it a win lol
