Wassup yall I lowkey been wondering on what build yall been using for this latest lvl 8 patch? (Companions included if you want)

Imma go first obviously and I’ve been running a tank dps warrior build.

With all these I get a beefy 550 hp and the durability that lets me solo the colosseum, though I do sometimes swap out lunge for endure or a few other powers if needed.

A Thief build with a general focus on crit damage and smashing as many foes as possible.

I party with Arona and Brienne (both default sets) and we smash through just about everything (ghosts murk us).

It's Cold Here, Midwestern US
no access to my save away from my computer but i run with tank cait as my combo tank/healer and ghostbuster arona despite my dislike for her. this new thief viv intrigues me, especial since if i tanked i could run with healer ryn or agni again

Black Mage Charmer here. Not optimal but works from a roleplaying angle and doesn't make fights impossible.

Tank Charmer with Leadership gear and support powers to buff his party and summon to the moon.
He was a Warrior for Tough Skin and no initiative penalty, but Expert Inspiration won me over.

I play a dual wield Thief with a focus on large criticals. At level 8 with two short swords, hornet ring, and ring of fortune + Sharpen Blades I'm sitting at a 63% chance for a critical. Equanimity just adds to everything I'm doing. The Secutor Set ensures that my Presence matches my Agility, allowing my companions to actually be more than extra bodies for the enemy to hit. A few folks seem to argue that the new Warrior double attack is the way to go in terms of At-Will powers, but they don't seem to consider the fact that double attack doesn't work with any Recharge or Encounter skills. Its a basic attack that attacks twice, sure, but I'm already attacking twice as a dual wield, and dual wield triggers on both Recharge and Encounter skills. It feels not very smart to give up Equanimity's bonuses to Recharge and Encounter skills to get a double attack basic.

I used to have this draconic shield paladin tank thing going on. The fire powerset fit into a team of Pyromancer Brienne and Elementalist Vivianne, who sets down a Grease for prone and fire vulnerability. But the new Warrior powers are too cool and strong to not take, so my character turned into this draconic crit-fishing berserker tank. Arrows indicate change from paladin to berserker.

Dragonsblood Orc Soldier

Class
Warrior

Stats
Strength 100%
Willpower 100% → Willpower 50%
Toughness 50%*
Agility 50% → Cunning 100%

*(Toughness never needs to be 100% ime. With some strategy, my health never drops low. So 100% Toughness is a waste of finite attribute points better spent on another stat.)

Powers
Lay on Hands → Double Attack
Shielding Smite → Endure
Searing Arc → Whirlwind
Flames Within
Unbreakable

Consequential Gear
Dragonscale
Cloak of the Deeps
Evergreen's Bountiful Bag
Mare's Ring
White Blossom Ring
Tower Shield
Tyrant's Axe or Dawnsword*

*(Tyrant's Axe for offense at the expense of defense. Better for most fights, because I have more than enough defense. Dawnsword for more defense. Better for 3 vs. many fights like the orc tavern brawl or the demon distraction for Gwyr.)
