I know this is gonna seem weird when most people are asking about sex scenes and stuff but are there any plans to give more weapon options like more dual wield weapons, bows, etc... so you can add different flavors to your characters instead of just toting around the same items every time you run through the game?

There will be, don't worry about it. There has been an overfocus on heavy two-handers of late since the Winter City but I'm at least trying to do my part to fix that.

The thing is that since we did away with the gear treadmill, each piece of gear reduces the design space for something else, so each piece becomes progressively harder to make.

But yes, we've been lacking in that department, and it's been discussed.

Can you expand upon the details of this statement? I'm left somewhat confused.

Though I'm excited to hear there will be more non-two hander options coming to the game.

The idea is that gear numbers don't go up (much) as the game progresses; you can beat the final boss with the basic javelin if you want to. That means each unique item needs to do something other than raw high numbers to distinguish itself, things like special abilities and unique combinations of numbers that you wouldn't see on an equivalent piece.

i want my +9000 bastard sword!
If it doesn't go "snicker-snack", it's garbage.

Also the javelin isn't basic, it must be magical. My champ can cleave with the pointy, throwing stick and have it return once thrown at flying assholes. It's like the tides, you can't explain that.
