Shoot..... I could try and write up the scenes for one... But that's like.... Every npc......
It can. If you get enough Nyrea TF you should get a perk that puts eggs in your cum.

Those are faux eggs, though. And they don't ever somehow change the scenes.

Scene changes are up to individual authors. If they aren't into oviposition they wont write scen variants but that doesn't make the eggs or ovipositor any more fake than a for example a tauric body that there is little support for. Just cause there aren't many scenes that account for taurs doesn't make your taur body fake.
They aren't infertile they just need to be properly inseminated. Nyrea cum isn't male cum so the Eggs need to be provided with some male cum. The sterilty status you get from the TF is just a mechanical shorthand for that effect.
What would be nice is if you wrote an item that granted a self insemination perk for PCs with ovipositors. That way they could pump people full of self fertilizrd rggs without needed a specific scene needing to be written where you get outside donors.
The player just cant yet engage in any scenes where they find someone else to inseminate their eggs. Its a lack of written content not a fault with the eggs.
If there was a sex scene with Seifyn the eggs would be inseminated. As for sex with non Nyrea you'd need custom scenes where said eggs are exposed to someone elses spunk. Unless as I mentioned before an item with a self insemination perk were to be written. That or a cum storage perk. Something so that while you have an ovipositor having the cum filled status effect also negates your sterilty.

If there is content that is written where the eggs can be, injected, fertilized, and grow like actual eggs, then the nyrea eggs the player produces can be recognized as such. For now, they are considered "faux" nyrea eggs due to that lack of support, and the reasoning is similar to the vanae: because Steele is not a full-borne or naturally part-nyrea, the eggs Steele produces don't work the exactly same. But again, if there is sufficient enough content to support oviposition and player-nyrean egg growth, then that may change.
