[Ver. 0.7.37] Game Receives Critical Error After Using Un-Altered Scale Salve(s)

I've been trying to save scum using the Scale Salve TF item that's been altered with the Soft Mud infusion for hours now, and I haven't gotten the reptilian muzzle to proc since. Frustrated, I tried downing an un-altered Scale Salve, and the game receives a critical error (RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded). There are some TF results that proceed as normal, but there's possibly one TF result that reliably triggers the error.

I am running Corruption of Champions 2 via Steam, development build version 0.7.37.

wondering if it might be a bug related to the horns. it had one ages ago that I don't recall if it got fixed or not.

Also, for the scale salve thing, I tested it and it worked for me after a couple tries, but the snout does require you to not have a face with the muzzle tag already, and to have scales. It won't be eligible as a tf otherwise.

That's weird, considering I had thought I used a TF to give myself a normal human face beforehand. I have a bunch of other changes to my character, but I don't understand why they could be the catalyst as to why the muzzle does proc, except for exceptionally bad luck on my part, I guess?

some tfs are just coded to only work when certain flags are present or not, and in this case, that's the restrictions for the lizard muzzle. Anyway there's only so many face tfs, lip color, tongue, eyes, and face type. If rng was that bad, I'd just take some of them to reduce the pool and then fix afterwards.
