Hey y'all, cannibalizing and bumping this thread with previews of Vark's WIP expansion, the one that won the poll above. I've finished the end scene of one of the two paths you can take to make him into your pet, this one being the significantly lewd-er one. Let me know what you think! More to come extremely soon if all goes to plan!

(Note: This is simply a separate doc for previewing the scenes as I complete them. It will be in almost random order, and I'll release the full thing in a separate thread when its done.)

Finished scenes:
♦Break Him - Lewd Pet-making scene after beating him repeatedly.
♦Oral Defeat - Rimjob/Facefuck, depending on his submission.
♦Broken - Bad end yo. Forks based on willpower and genitals and stuff.
♦Tease and Leave - Extremely minor interaction, intended to have a function for multiple future expansions. Really just a flavor thing right now.
♦Pet - Just a cute little scene to give you something to do with a Tamed Vark besides snuggling.
♦Misc Texts - A huge bundle of not entirely sexual menu text and the loss-win dialogue.
♦Completely added all of the formatting and scene menu items, with a [WIP] marker for the unfinished ones. This is more or less what the full document will look like.
♦Tame Him - Short scene to make him a snuggle pet. Not much to it.
♦More Taming route scenes and improvements to his appearance screen to account for whether you've recently groomed him, etc.
♦Snuggle scene for Pet Vark. Forks based on player height.
♦Anal Defeat scene. Variant for buttslut/Anal heat.
♦Vaginal Defeat scene. Small variations based on tit size and such.
♦Riding loss scene
♦Updates to the Breaking scene as well the first cycle of the Fuck victory scene's kind route.
♦Finally remembered to paste the stat block, moves, etc into the preview.
♦Get Sucked Victory Scene.
♦The rest of the "Fuck his butt" scene. Forks heavily on personality score.

That's only if you repeatedly choose to enter the cave and leave anyway, which isn't something you really have any reason to do unless you want to get punished in my opinion. I can consider raising the number, but I was told that 3 is good.

Or are you talking about the initial time and the fact that it locks you out if you choose not to accept it? I could probably add a buffer that lets you leave without getting locked out once the first time

Updated. Improved cohesion between nested variations and clarified the flow of events. Added short summaries of unwritten scenes. Wrote collar offering texts.

Honestly, I would have preferred there to be an option to do a more aggressive approach. Maybe an option to turn the tables. Some of the best content in my eyes is where you get to really stick to (or in) a huge jerk. But that's just me. Its your thing, so you do whatever you want with it.

In case you or anybody else is curious, I did brainstorm all of the ideas I had for said combat route. I went over the top on purpose, just to explore what the farthest reaches of possibility might be. None of this means anything if the basic package isn't of sufficient quality, but if it is, some or all of this will likely come to pass eventually (No promises, shit happens):

Breaking Vark (Or Trying to at least.)
How it works:

• PC may enter combat with Vark after selecting a newly added "Stand your Ground" option, he's essentially a slightly beefier version of the typical Milodan encounter with different combat text, victory, and loss scenes. (I was told this was an alright thing to do, essentially making a Milo 2.0 encounter and replacing the text with custom shit. Time will only tell if it actually is.) Separate paths depending on whether you win or lose. These paths are both linear and set back each other when triggered, creating a balance beam of sorts. If at all plausible, I envision this system to work as a scale where 5 is neutral, 10 is fully submissive (Bad end) and 0 is Fully dominant (Vark broken into pet) It would function somewhat similarly to the Wetraxxel Brawler's submission score or Kane's dominance meter in the upcoming expansion for him.
• The combat is in theory intended to be pretty difficult but not impossible. (Think Chaurmine.) Losing many times without winning leads to a bad end. You have to be really stubborn or do it on purpose. (Because you're a slut.)
• Winning allows you to stick it to the kitty, doing more or less what he does to you in the base path. Spanking (Optional, but raises his submission faster), fucking, etc. At full submission the PC can collar him, removing his enemy encounter from the game and making him an NPC Pet instead. The Sex scenes with PetVark can be chosen from by the PC whenever (Though the particularly gentle or rough scenes will be locked by personality type.) Vark will offer gifts to appease the player, and similar to Bess/Beth (And maybe some other NPC I don't know about) The PC will be able to select a nickname/Bed name for both Vark and you. Some of these will be locked under certain conditions. ie. Alpha (Either PC Gender) and Beta (For PetVark) could probably only be used if the PC has a knotted cock type or Ausar vagina at the time the name selection prompt is triggered. (You wouldn't need to keep said organs to retain the title.)

• Entering the cave after he is broken will give you the choice of letting him service you with his mouth (Choice of Pussy, Ass, and Cock, depending on what the PC has.) Refusing makes him desperate, and he'll be more likely to give you gifts later to earn sex. These gifts will be small things, probably mediocre amounts of credits, drops from Uvetan enemies, etc. (Perhaps on a rare occasion jewelry he makes for you that you can toggle for it to be in your appearance screen, not sure of the viability of this concept.

Significantly likely to be cut/never happen:

• Vark gets restless and goes looking for the PC if they spend large swathes of time On-world without visiting him. Results in a random chance to replace any tile rolled to be a Milodan Male or Male Korgonne encounter with a scene involving Vark submitting to said male Korg or Milo out of desperation. (Or simply a random chance to encounter said scenes if the replacement thing doesn't work from a coding standpoint) The player can choose to watch secretly, walk away, or join in as a threesome. Choosing to leave or watch too many times in a row results in Vark losing loyalty to you, with heavy warnings, but eventually if you ignore them (Or want to trigger it on purpose just to see what'll happen) he'll be taken as a bitch by that specific Enemy, removing him from the game. The intent is for this to be a punishment for extreme apathy or for it to be triggered to witness the content, he won't venture off when you aren't spending time on Uveto in the interest of fairness, but I think it adds a bit of realism (And fun content for some) while also having generous stopgaps to prevent you from losing the pet you worked so hard for out of nowhere. (You won't need to fuck him to reset the "wander timer", just stop by the cave.)
• Maybe make Vark give you an accessory that when equipped will make it so he can be used as a combat partner In the same vein as Siegewulfe or Tam's dog? Would return to the cave when unequipped. I'm not entirely sure how this would be balanced, and it would take heavy consultation with the game designers to see if it's possible, but that's why it's in this little pipe dream category.
• Depending on how War'gii event stuff works, maybe during or after the conclusion, you take him on a victory lap through Kor'gii hold so the doggos can tease him.

• Commissioning Wsan (Or somebody else with his blessing?) to make it so that Lund can fuck Vark in front of you (Or have a threesome, or both. Probably with Variants depending on your relationship to Lund. ie If Lund is sub to you, he'll service you alongside Vark, but if he's dominant, he'll use you both for his pleasure, etc. The logistics of this are entirely theoretical at the moment, but the concept came up, so we'll see.
• As a side note, if and when the Lund-becoming-a-roaming enemy path gets into the game because I've commissioned it, maybe the Wander timer mechanic has scenes with him?

Did an editing sweep and tried to clarify the notes to the coder on how the scenes flow together, it's a bit of a tangled web currently. (I also got an editor to do that stuff for me! Hooray for friends!) I've also thought that maybe Pet Vark it could have treatment support if that was something people were interested in, pheromone cloud references mostly, or the ability to fuck him for hours with a libido skill check. Let me know if that sounds like a cool idea.

I like this the outline of this so far mostly because i love submission. It looks really good. The whole thing does sound like it'll take alot of writing so segmenting Vark so the initial scenes are complete sounds like a good idea.

Finished the Persuasion bad end, which is a slightly more equal partnership than the other one. Basically he respects you for resisting him as long as you did, and treats you like a lover rather than a toy. I'm starting work on the other bad end right now.
