Playing as a Kineticist, despite being level 4 with speed of thought and maxed intelligence, its impossible to break free from the grapple of the Vanae even once. The text the says i break free plays but im still stuck in the grapple with no text saying that the vanae regrappled me. I've tried against a dozen vanae grapples and i've never broken free once

The perk is working just fine, it's just escaping the vanae grapple is supposed to display a scene that also removes any tripped and stunned statuses you may have (the condition she grabs you in the first place). So because those aren't removed, she'll want to grab you again after you escaped her grapple (since your character is still tripped/stunned). This also affected characters who escape using the "Limber" perk as well. Standard escape methods were unaffected since they go through the "normal" list of opponent reactions. So the fix should remove the tripped/stunned status effects when successfully escaping a vanae grapple.
