Using the GaloMax pill soft locks the game

I use the GaloMax pill and then the game won't let me move anymore.
No "next" button appears to return to the game proper.
I can reload the quick save and regular saves but have to avoid using the pill for now.

have you tried using the cheat menu to teleport back to your ship to see if your controls free up? also try going to and from the main menu. ive also had similar softlocks when i back out of the save/load menu without choosing a load, and i was able to fix it by going to the main menu and back

the teleport controls in the cheat menu are greyed out when I try to use them after the GaloMax. I just wont use the pill for now.

i found you can bypass the issue right now if you open up the appearence menu and then exit out of it, you should be able to do whatever afterwords

That fixed it, thanks for the tip. never would have thought of that.
