they're called bugponies cause they're Leithan
Due to the armored carapaces they have all over their bodies, they're more reptilian but are still called bugpony's.
I was wondering this whole time, while reading through the thread, what the heck a bug-pony was. Thank you, lol.
Apparently there's a bug that prevents her from showing if you had Steele Tech help with saving her.
@eveoflife You can actually bypass this problem through the save editor after being stubborn enough to get her to appear.
I actually solved this problem with the save editor. All you need to do is to change the ending value with the save editor highlighting the flag KASHIMA STATE and change the numeral from 3 to 2. Wait five days for her to send her mail message to your codex and then change it back to 3 since the flag has already activated.

You have to do the Kashima Incident and have her survive and have unlocked Canadia station. Once you've done both of those wait a couple days and you'll get an email.
However, there is a bug right now where if you had Steele Tech help saving her you won't get the email. This will be fixed for the next release, but for now the workaround is to use the save editor and set the KASHIMA_STATE flag to 2, then wait a few days and you'll get the email.

Doing the Kashima Incident is not required to unlock Canadia, as there are multiple other ways to unlock NC. I ran into the same issue of my editor telling me I hadn't done the quest, which I thought was a bug, but really it was just me having done it so many times on multiple different save files that I forgot I hadn't done it on my main character.
