Unable to change custom bust back to the default bust. (Game Version: 0.9.048-PUBLIC#3209)

I used the custom bust feature to change the default picture of the robot BEN-13 (Hayato in this instance) to a character from another game. I realized i didn't actually like how it looked so i was going to put the default picture back and deal with it but when i go to where the menu should be, I am met with a black screen that is escapable.
It doesn't break the game or soft lock it but now its stuck like that unless there is another method i haven't tried yet.

Post your save, preferably one before and after clearing the image out pls.

I didn't have a save from before I changed it available so i used an earlier one and speed ran to get bess14. The same thing happened again when I changed the bust this time.

One save is from right before i changed it and the other is from right after. hope this helps.

Came back to say that the problem now does soft lock the game resulting me in having to reload a save, or autosave,

Was going to make a post about same issue but saw this, so thought I'd ask here if anyone solved this? Just got Bess and tried to change her picture, but got same black screen issue as OP when tried to apply it. Let me save the custom image, but applying it breaks game.

Been working on it bit by bit. I think Jacques got the last of it done yesterday I just need to test it before calling it fixed.
