I used the hand milk masturbation action while in the maternity room within the nursery while pregnant with kaithrit children. Prior to that, I had used the maternity room to skip to all but 8 minutes remaining in the pregnancy. I attempted a second try where I repeated the process, but attempted to leave the nursery rather than masturbate and got the same crash after meeting Azra. I also got a crash when attempting to give birth in the Res. and Merchant Decks of Tavros Station. It crashes before the kaithrit birth scene in the ship and in the wilds of Mhen'ga as well.
A little bit of extra information: These are the kaithrits from FIRST-14 and their children are listed as felines, despite the pregnancy being marked as kaithrit.
Workarounds:
Use the full maternity option and skip the kaithrit birthing scene.
