Synopsis
Third Crisis is an adult tactical-RPG that follows the adventurer and hero known as Vibe. After a mission gone wrong, she’s forced to adjust to her new way of life in the lust-ridden town of Carceburg. Whether she gives in to the bliss of submission or uses her sexual appeal to her advantage on the battlefield is all up to you!

As you delve deeper into Carceburg’s mysteries, you’ll come to uncover the secrets surrounding the crisis that saw humanity defeated and enslaved by the sinister organization Peitho.

Good point! I'll get that list together.

At the moment, there's about a half hour to an hour of content. We just have the prologue done at the moment, but we're suuuuper excited to add more.

Having played it:

It's pretty good for a prolouge! I had a "oh" moment half-way through after I recognized the similarities between her and Tracer. Well, Overwatch in general. I plan to keep my eye on this! As I played, I mainly saw glitches via going back and forth between full-screen and not. Buttons would sometimes become only accessible by arrow-keys. I think using the mouse may not be intended? Regardless, I know it wasn't intended due to how I skipped a dialogue with the hidden wall. I clicked near it and instead just went inside the base.

Heya! Using the mouse is definitely intended, and those issues you ran into are bugs. Can you PM me for more details on how the bugs occurred? I wanna get them fixed asap.

For what it was, I found it enjoyable and will patiently wait for further expansion in the future. During my short playtime, I didn't notice any real bugs or errors. Which was nice.
As a long term Fire Emblem and Tactics fan, I see the potential in the gameplay. Although lacking any real depth, it was fun. Story wise, I admittedly felt a little disappointed after reaching the end of the demo. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but rather it was at that moment it started to pique my interest. Time travel is a fun concept, and very fitting considering Vibe's character inspiration.

All in all, it was short but sweet. I'll keep it in mind when checking on the forums from time to time.

On the combat: It WAS fluid, and it can probably be expanded on a lot. I like how movement really plays into it. Do you plan to focus a tad more on combat? How would it affect the porn/lewd part of the game for people that would rather see cgs? Would people be expected to do much harder combat down the line?

Second: I know this was said before, but about the pairings... Will there be any focus? Will there likely be more M/F then F/F? Vice versa?

So we definitely want to put a lewd spin on the combat and give it more depth. We already feel that the combat is probably the weakest link in the game, so we really really want to make it truly sexy, fun and not just some annoying obstacle to get in the way of the scenes you play the game for. When we made this iteration of the combat, we wanted positioning to play a key role in all things. That's why you have damage falloff over distance, dashing that stuns people around you, and laser beams that you have to maneuver around. It's going to be a little tough to get the lewd combat right, and we might not get it right on the first try, but we'll keep working on it until it feels awesome to play and fap to.

As for pairings we're probably going to be going a higher ratio of women than men, so there's definitely going to be a lot of lesbian scenes (I actually already have a really steamy lesbian scene written up for a future update). From where we are now, I'd say it'd be almost even in M/F, F/F with there being a little more lesbian scenes.

Pushed a bugfix update that (hopefully) solves the issues you guys had with the Leath boss fight and has some other nice goodies inside as well!

0.1.1 Changelog

  • Added a cutscene and additional dialogue to the win condition on the boss fight to make a player’s victory less confusing and frustrating.

  • Adjusted the Grumpy Man sequence to make him more of an obstacle for Jenna so that her helping him doesn’t seem out of place when she’s in a hurry.

  • Fixed Grumpy Man not being where you left him if you come back to the first level after getting past him.

  • Made diagonal movement speeds be the same as moving only horizontally or vertically, making Jenna feel less slippery.

  • Adjusted mouse movement so that sprinting starts when the mouse is a little further, so there is a wider range of movement with the mouse.

  • Modified save path for WebGL to make saves and options persist across updates, saves will be lost for the last time in this update on WebGL (This only affects options on Windows and Android builds).

  • Adjusted Motel Owner dialogue at the end of the game.

  • Added Export buttons to load game buttons in Load Menu on WebGL.

  • Fixed holes in Deep Forest collision that allowed you to walk outside of the map.

  • Added multiple logic additions and polish to the dialogue system to allow things like sticking multiple dialogues together and easily running logic when a choice is selected.

  • Added logic and art that allows Jenna’s nipples to poke through her suit if the bra is skipped.
  • Added dialogue that acknowledges that the player skipped the bra, and some dialogues will also acknowledge if Jenna is missing her bra.

  • Added a curfew minigame that utilizes the combat system where the player has to sneak around guards to get back to the motel and they’ll get taken to the prison if they get caught.

  • Modified Jenna’s walking animation speed at both higher and lower movement speeds to match the animation to the movement better.
  • Modified the backend mission system to allow for faster content creation and for future extension.
  • Modified save menu to include a save button that needs to be pushed to save the game with the name that is in the text field (this also allows Android to finally save).
  • Fixed issues revolving around holding the skip bind to skip dialogue.
  • Fixed Grumpy Man state saving issues that would soft lock the game.
  • Fixed some missing mission task completions.
  • Fixed some unseen issues with the Day-Night cycle and added a lot of logic revolving around things happening at certain times.
  • Fixed countless little bugs and issues.
  • Removed all lewd content due to being unimportant to the core experience of the game.

Wait so this isn't going to be a lewd game or was that a late April fools joke? I liked the idea of lewd content (and the possibility of public nudity with other shenanigans) it gave a Lust Doll (A different game I like) feel to the game with the possibility of reaching even higher later in the game, (though I understand the combat system and suit mechanics are rather core), ultimately it is your game to make and I'm just a curious third party.

Make the game you want to make, and thanks for taking the time to read this.

Just an april fools joke that got posted here around midnight, the original patch notes were made earlier in the day. We're still very much a lewd game! :D

I tried it out, and it seems super cool so far. But I gotta ask, is it possible to avoid straight content? I don't mean remove it, but in the sense that you can get out of it by winning fights or by choices.

In general, if you follow a certain path, you should be able to avoid most sexual content. You'll have to lose a fight in the prologue to avoid the straight content you get from winning, but other than that yeah, just win fights and decline sexual advances. There are one or two unavoidable straight scenes, but you can just mash the skip button. I might just add an option to skip the scene I have in mind now that you've got me thinking about it.

Thanks for the quick reply :) it ain't a dealbreaker, especially if it can be minimised. Plus it's not like it's an RP game, if the character's bi, that's what they are.
