The Thraggen Tf (aka "i want to be a space orc and there's nothing you can do to stop me from it")

Well, maybe this tf could be part of some kind of outreach program, or whatever? If Thraggen become more common, or at least people who look like them or have Thraggen features, then that may be a good first step to better integration.
Returning to the original topic for a bit, I wanted the Tf to have the same effect tin cans had to the US war effort during WWII irl, where the recicling of them made it posible to have easier access to "pure" tin and metal to make different military appliances, with the original version of the Tf used in a similar manner to help the UGC during the galactic war against the encroaching Thraggen. But then i ran into the issue of "why whould they let people turn into space orcs admist the green scare?". So, i rewrote the background of the Tf, making it something that was originally made for when the Thraggen were given sapience and autonomy rights by the UGC, to kind of introduce them to the broader galaxy, but once the war broke out, it was quickly faced with backlash and took off the market for years, even after the war was over and the blockade on the thraggen worlds was put in place
The tf the player takes is basically an off-brand/off-shoot version of the original, that's why it's sold by Sera (who has reputation for selling "not-so-legal" transformatives, but nothing as obscure as, say, The Seer) and it gives the player quite some Taint upon consumption

but the thraggen attacked instantly on first contact, then shanghaied the warp gate sent to their system to bring the party to the ugc which kicked the war off proper. there was never any diplomacy or handshakes, just straight to violence

Yeah, I know. Honestly, I think I'll just leave it as a failed attempt from some corpo (Xenogen, i believe i chose) at capitalizing on the Thraggen once the dust settled after the war, but the prejudice and distrust of the galaxy at large towards the green brutes made the product a comercial failure, leading to them taking it off the market completely

eh, idk, i kinda feel like the whole "failed transformative" thing has already been done to death with gush soak and throbb.

sorry if thats rude of me to say im just speaking my mind

No no, it's fine, i appreciate the criticism. Helps one to think better

Also, it's not that the tf you take is a failed product. The og product does no longer exist, and someone (unsurprisingly in this universe) got their hands on some version of the formula, and decided to make their own version of the transformative. Hence why it gives off the amount of taint it does (which i'll probably increase a little, to further cement this point) and why it might give some "off" transformations (only one i could think of so far is sylvan ears in place of normal ones, but i'll probably include a few more. Not a lot of them, though)

eh, that's not much better if you ask me.

And imo, if it gives non thraggen features, then you may as well label it as a fantastical orc tf outright. Maybe to spice it up have the lore be that it was pulled from shelves not because it was unstable or causes taint, but because of a ton of thraggen filing complaints and accusing the designers of being racist, lol. That would be super funny.

This way you can also add the tattoo marking stuff you were talking about earlier!

You know what, that's actually a pretty good idea, might actually go with something like that for the final version
