I started out with the codex info. just to get a starter for this race, and there planet. I will be working more on a full story plot, various item, and effects, along with a few characters.  I already have one character drawn that will be the main characters focus and contact for the planet to visit. Any additional writers wish to fit in fitting sequences here are free to work them in, along with stylized different characters that fit this race. The female characters name is Jazét (A.K.A. Jazz) Inporté.
Feedback and additional idea's are more then welcome.

Don't try and write your own planet. It takes the entire team 8+ months to churn one of those out. Write a single character for one of the existing planets first. If that turns out well, and you've gotten a handle on writing for the game, THEN think about expanding your scope... but even then, a planet is an undertaking you will not complete.

I agree creating a whole new planet is a huge undertaking and if I were to do a full make-up for one, let alone twin orbiting planets, that would take one person more then 2 years; however there is a work-around.  If I were to say create a descriptor for the planet and then and write out a specific plot line for a character that I have already created that would ease the overall workload and overall major complexities of the T.I.T.S game. When in college I was part of a 5 person team to make a mock game and trailer.  We were able to create a 1 minute trailer, an one full level of a side scrolling, spaceship shooter game in 5 months. As a part of the Interactive Media Design course (graduated) I designed and animated 8 different 3D ship models, and varying other objects and scenery. I have the capability to do such work as you have described.

Admittedly  the coding aspect for gaming is still beyond my reach but this form of story run, choice determined outcome game is not too far outside my reach. It is what I went to college for after all. In addition I'm a publish author working on the sequel to my first book, so writing a individual characters story is an easy yet still time consuming project. What would have to be done by some of your team is to work out the coding, and altering the story to fit the the wide variety of different user-made characters to better fit the plot line in general. I can even provide a map layout for the area and paths on the planet that the protagonist would follow using current games designs as a base.

I will gladly take your advice and write up a story for the one new character I have created to be added into the existing game-play. I am also determined however to continue with my overall original plan; even if in the end it does not work out and is not used.

To "ADMIN SAVIN" seeing that this game is part of your "brain child" I would very much like to discus my idea's and yours. If we could talk/write to each other outside of posts, I would be honored. I hope to be able to have plenty of enlightening discussions with you in the future.

Attached below is a public display of one of my ship creations (all be it one of the least interesting), a plain massive transport ship for your understanding of my capabilities. It only took me approximately 5 hours to make.

Nobody is stopping OP from writing a planet. Just sending a warning that it will end in disappointment, especially as their first major project.

If it takes more than half a year for a full design team to make a planet then there is little chance single person can do it, without getting completely burned out and hating their creation by the end.

Thanks for the kind words.  lol  You could be a little encouraging of my determination. Besides I've already made one 3D scale model planet before, build a 4 x 5 city block City (with skyscrapers, random pedestrians walking about, with full textured wraps, detailed exteriors, and backdrop), and then followed up to animate the planet blowing up like Superman's Krypton within a month. I prepped to fail, but that doesn't mean I cant try.  Beside I'm just writing a description.

You're right. Sorry I said anything.

Admin Savin, don't say that. I highly value your words and ideas (along with your staff) on my proposed endeavor far more the others due to the fact that you have come so far with creating this game.  I'd be honored to speak with you.

You do know that has absolutely nothing to do with writing a planet for a text-based game, right?

Yes, I understand that. Though being a published author does give me the experience that I might need to write for text-based game.

I have completed putting together a full Google Doc. for this character's story summary, and Codex information.  If the staff wish to see what I have written so far for interactions with the character, please ask and I will send you that information directly.

I just read through the doc and I have to say there is quite a list of things you can't be or do if you want to meet her.

Why not hard personality? Why only Techspert? Are Anno, Bess/Benn and Hand So really going to feature so heavily that you thought it better to disable her rather than work around? What exactly is she going to do as part of your crew for the short time she spends on your ship?

One of the main factors that I added so many pre. req's is because it would make it a little easier on the programmers if there were less routes to her story. I chose not too let Hard be part of it because that personality type would care less about others and more about himself/herself. Having all specialty groups be able to get her would be ok. As for Anno and Bess/Benn, one is their resident tech specialist and the other is the full robotic member, which the new character would most connect with or associate with; more over you would most likely have to kick one character off the ship to make room for a new person. The addition of Hand So is due the the fact that the new character would learn of her and make it a mission to fix her flaws and give her the existence  that she wanted, but that could be made into an optional side mission.

The overall main purpose behind adding her is that she is to be the one off species to lead you to her home planet and be the connection to her people in general. Without her you would not be able to upgrade your ship or find her planet.
