"Hmm... Okay." Blaze mutters, nodding.
About ten minutes later, Alex comes in with the kids, dropping them off at the table before walking off to order their meals, then returning in a few minutes. "Whew. We went on the Twisty Cups or whatever that thing was called. Makes ya wanna puke if you're not careful..." He grumbles.

"Dude... This happens to be the nearest food place. And I know you're a lazy butt and wouldn't go that far. Especially not with the kids in tow." Alex says, chuckling.
"Okay, mommy! Daddy is bad!" They say, sticking their tongue out at Alex.
"Hey kids, never listen to mom. You know why? She never knows how to have fun!" Alex shoots back.
"Ehhh... She got all these toys for us, though." Blaze says.
"So could I, but they didn't let me. I'm not completely human, remember?" He says, tapping Blaze's head.
"Ohhhh. Right. Forgot. Sorry dad." He says sheepishly.
"It's alright."

"Well, you never asked me to pay, did you? I've probably got more money in the bank than you do!" He says, chuckling. "Oh, and by the way, kids, daddy is mean to mommy because since he loves her soooo much, he also loves annoying her too." He adds with a grin.
"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Kids, this is what I meant by mom not being able to have fun!" Alex groans.

"And this, kids, is when she gives up. And you know what usually follows? This!" He says, twisting the finger in her mouth before pulling her closer to kiss her.
"Adorably cheap way!" He corrects.
"Soooo... I like dad's idea of a relationship." Blaze says, grinning.

He rolls his eyes and leans in close. "Just so you know... I've got two mil in the bank..." He whispers into her ear, his tongue curling out to lick the edges.

"Dad's got a point. You should have asked!" Blaze says, shrugging.

She looks genuinely upset now, letting go of his tongue "Oh... of course... how silly of me... I should have assumed you had so much cash in your name." She finishes the rest of her burger in two bites "Done now... I will be waiting outside." She all but hisses, leaving the table.
The last thing she sees is him blinking and looking at the kids as if to ask "Did I do something wrong?" To which they just shrug.
