The Syren Conspiracy (For Floozer)

[Floozer]

"Our hero Wumpus comes down onto a swampy planet, the air smelly with gas and strange plants littered the ground. But did this scare our brave explorer? Not one bit! He grabbed his trusty pistol, pulled on his favorite coat and bravely strode out into the swamp! Toads the size of dogs croaked in the water and dragon flies the size of kites filled the air! But still Wumpus moved forward!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Would Wumpus fit on one of the dragonflies?" Blaze randomly asks.
"No, you idiot. She said kites. Can you fly on a kite!?" Cinder groans.
"If I jumped off a roof and the air caught it, yeah, probably!"

 

[Floozer]

She chuckles and shakes her head "No, I am afraid he is too big for them. Now then, our brave hero soon came up to a stone temple built out in the middle of the swamp. With a brave smile he stepped inside and looked around. The temple was taller than her thought, reaching far above his head and full of strange drawings he had never seen before!"

 

[Archangel99]

The kids shuffle forwards a little closer, eagerly awaiting her words.

 

[Floozer]

"Well, as he moved in further to the temple, he saw an alter in the center, with a knife stabbed into the middle of it. Besides that, the room seemed empty... or did it? Our brave hero Wumpus, so brave he was, grabbed the dagger and pushed it down, making a secret stair case slowly lower itself down behind him!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Wait... Why not pull it out...?" Max wonders.

 

[Floozer]

"Because temples are weird... now then... down down down the stairs lead our hero, deeper into the dark temple before coming out to a large room where he encountered..." She looks to Alex.

 

[Archangel99]

"A giant snake?" He offers.

 

[Floozer]

"That's right! A giant snake with fangs bigger than Alex!" she says in a dramatic voice "It slowly lifted its head and glared at our hero, baring its fangs... so hungry for a snack after sleeping for so long!""

 

[Archangel99]

"Almost 500 years, kids. And big snakes need big meals! Now let's see if our hero is gonna be another meal, eh?" He says, grinning.

 

[Floozer]

"Wumpus drew his pistol and fired on the beast, but to his dismay it just bounced off the snakes thick scales. The snake licked it's chops, ready for a meal as it lunged at our hero! At the last second, he throws himself to the side, evading certain death at the jaws of such a beast. Wumpus runs around the creature as it pulls it head back, looking for a weak spot."

 

[Archangel99]

"Apparently he hadn't noticed the ceiling was covered in stalactites." Alex says, chuckling.
"What are stalactites, daddy?" Vivian asks.
"Big rock spikes that hang down from ceilings."
"Oh."

 

[Floozer]

"In his panic, Wumpus looks up and smiles... he knows what he must do! The snake lunges again and he dodges, making the snake hit the wall and shake the hallway. More and more he would dodge the snake before suddenly... crack! A stalactite fell from the shaking ceiling right onto the snakes head!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Is it dead?" Max asks.
"Yeah! The stalactite must have punched right through its head!" Blaze says, laughing.

 

[Floozer]

"With a hiss of rage and pain, the snake fell to the floor, dead and gone. Our hero sends teh snake off with a few respectful words before leaving for the inner sanctum. It is here that Wumpus finds a huge circular room with a single glowing crystal sitting in the center, humming with powers untold!"

 

[Archangel99]

"He's totally not gonna make an epic weapon out of it." Alex says, shaking his head, which makes the kids giggle.

 

[Floozer]

"Approaching slowly he makes his way toward the crystal, only to stop dead in his tracks as a figure appears behind it. Another man, tall and thin with pale skin and yellow eyes." She clears her throat and puts on a nasaly voice "Ahahahahahaha! you fool! I knew you would come here Wumpus! For I, Karisk Scorn, will see the end of your nosey ways!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Oooh! And the plot thickens!" Alex says dramatically.

 

[Floozer]

"What?!", gasps our hero as his nemesis suddenly makes himself known "That is right! You thought you stopped me before when you blew up my lab, but I always have a back up plan... witht his crystal I am going assert my way to the top!" Scorn grabs the crystal and lightning crackles along his body as he laughs, throwing lighting at Wumpus who just barely dodges it in time!"

 

[Archangel99]

"Hmm... Sounds familiar. Oh well. Continue!" Alex says, grinning.

 

[Floozer]

"It's an uphill battle for our hero who can only dodge and jump, no time to aim his pistol as Scorn throws lightning at him over and over again. But wise is our hero, knowing that everything has a limit and with one final bolt, Scorn suddenly fizzles out of power! 'What?! No! How can this be?!' Scorn cries as the crystal needs time to recharge! Seeing his Chance, Wumpus runs forward and aims his pistol, firing it and knocking the crystal from Scorns hands before tackling him to the floor!"

 

[Archangel99]

"All good things eventually come to an end, of course." Alex says, chuckling dryly.

 

[Floozer]

"the two struggled together, fighting for control when Wumpus was thrown aside... but he landed by the crystal! he could see it had just enough power for one more blast so he grabbed it up and fired it at Scorn. With a loud scream Scorn took the hit, blinding white light filling the room and when Wumpus opened his eyes, Scorn was gone without a trace. Looking down at the crystal, Wumpus knew this could not be unguarded, so he took it with him and left the temple, sealing the chamber behind him as he returned to his ship."

 

[Archangel99]

"And he still didn't make an awesome weapon out of it. Silly Wumpus." Alex sighs, shaking his head.

 

[Floozer]

"No he didn't, because he needed to get his engineer friend to do it for him... the end!"

 

[Archangel99]

The kids laugh and clap at the end. "Mommy tells good stories!" Vivian squeaks, grinning.

 

[Floozer]

"Thank you, thank you, I will be here for your entires lives I think" She says with a grin

 

[Archangel99]

"Of course you will, mommy. We're going to grow up fast!" Cinder says.
"Mmhmm. That's true. You guys are already growing like weeds." Alex says, chuckling.

 

[Floozer]

"Beautiful, lovely weeds that I love so much!" She grabs Vivian and Max, squeezing them tightly in a hug.

 

[Archangel99]

"Heeeey! Us too!" Cinder yells before rushing her alongside the other kids and bowling her over with their small bodies as they all scramble for a hug.
