Vena catches the little thing and immediately swaddles it in blankets, smiling and handing the child to Olivia to take a look.
The child immediately starts suckling from her breast, hungry as can be. It's a herm, just like her mother, and a laamin as well. She has light gray skin with her mothers red tentacle hair and Alex's eyes.
"Just... just like mommy it seems" She says with tired breaths.

She wakes hours later to someone shaking her shoulder. "Liv... She's biting my finger..." Alex says, chuckling as the baby furiously nibbles at his finger with toothless gums.
The baby promptly swallows Alex's whole pinky finger before grinning around the finger in her mouth. Alex laughs and slowly pulls his finger out before kissing the baby's forehead. "So have we decided on a name yet?" He asks as the baby wriggles in delight.
"Yeah... Wait. We already decided that before, didn't we...? Yeah. Yeah we did." He taps his forehead. "Daddy's a forgetful idiot sometimes, isn't he, little one?" Alex says, chuckling and kissing Vivian's forehead again.
Alex leans over to peer into the life support machine. "Seems to be fine... But I can't tell for sure. I'm no doctor..." He murmurs, settling back into his normal position and playing with Vivian's tiny fingers.
"Yeah. Looks like it. Maybe I'll train you to be a big strong fighter just like me, huh? You'd like that, wouldn't you, you lil monster?" He asks, grinning and kissing Vivian all over her face, which makes her gurgle in delight and try to smack his face.
"Sounds lovely!" Alex says, grinning and rubbing the tip of Vivian's nose, which makes her sneeze.
"Soooo... What we have on a normal basis." He says, chuckling and tickling Vivian, which makes her wriggle around and gurgle.
Brynn walks up to them, sleepily rubbing her eyes. "Hey guys. What's-" She sees the baby, and her eyes go wide. She immediately drops to her knees next to the bed and squees. "Oh my gooood! So cuuute!" She squeals, a big goofy grin on her face. "Can I hold her? Pleaaaase??" She asks, giving Olivia the puppy eyes.
Brynn walks up to them, sleepily rubbing her eyes. "Hey guys. What's-" She sees the baby, and her eyes go wide. She immediately drops to her knees next to the bed and squees. "Oh my gooood! So cuuute!" She squeals, a big goofy grin on her face. "Can I hold her? Pleaaaase??" She asks, giving Olivia the puppy eyes.
"Well I'm not surprised. This is my brother's kid." She says, chuckling before she starts cooing to the little baby, gently pinching her chubby cheeks and kissing her forehead. "What's her name?" She asks, looking at them.
"Vivian." Alex murmurs, smiling softly.
"Well hello, Vivian. Welcome to this wonderful little family of ours!" She says smiling down at the baby, who promptly yanks her hair.
"Ow! You weren't kidding!" Brynn says, wincing as she slowly pulls her hair our of Vivian's hands.

Olivia just sighs and shakes her head "You are damn lucky laamin produce milk like no ones business or this would actually be a problem." She looks over to Brynn "So... what are the chances I could get Vena planet side to deliver the last kid at home?"
