It's some sort of board game, torn up on all sides from childish wear and tear as well as plain age as he tosses the square lid to the side. The box reads "Elven Adventure" on the side, with all sorts of possibly-insensitive caricatures of the Elven race featured on the front. "Guys, how exciting is this? We finally have enough players!" He says, tapping the 4-20 player recommendation on the box.

"Um, a board game." Klaus smiles, shaking the box enthusiastically, and speaking as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "No matter about Pepper, I can move for him. He plucks the dagger-bearing plastic figure from the rest of the bunch, holding the others out to Melly and Kiras to make their choice.

"Hmm... I shall take this one." Kiras says, picking up a figurine shaped like a heavily armoured elf with a broadsword.
"I'll... Take this one, then." Melly says, picking up a figurine shaped like an elf weilding a staff, and dressed in a dark green robe. "Okay... So how do we play this?" Melly asks, looking at the board with a curious expression on her face.

"Easy! Just flick this little spinner, move your elf that many spaces forwards from the start. Then, read what the space on the board says, and I'll do the rest. As for Pepper, he seems like a druid elf to me." Klaus decides, picking out a scimitar-wielding elf figurine, a small sheepdog yipping at his heels, and sets it at the start with his own.

The magical plains grant you the blessing of swift steps! Add one extra space to your spin for three turns!
An army of goblins approaches your camp! Roll a die to determine your success in fighting them! 6-3 is a win! Add 2 gold to your gold pouch! 2-1 is a loss! Flee back to start!

"Hmm... Swift steps... One extra space... That means I must get 2 if I get 1, yes?" Kiras says, frowning slightly as he spins once more. The arrow lands on 1, and he sighs before moving two steps forward.

Pepper rolls a 6, and 2 gold is added to his pouch!

Klaus skips his turn, obedient to the will of the bramble field, before reading Kiras's space.
