"Then how the hell... do I get even!? Do I need to unleash an Ultima on their village!?"

Cursing under his breath, feeling deadly close to another powerful pulse of the spell. Of all the people who ran into these worlds with no caution and got off free, he had caution yet had been trapped like this. All of it was pretty fucking crazy and stupid, regardless of whether or not he wanted the Elder's head. But losing his cool wasn't going to help, the demon trying his best to calm as he narrowed his eyes at the naysayer who had more or less been no doubt involved in him getting into this mess with her own desires.

"Look... I got tortured and bound by that cur. I just want to make him suffer. Even if I can't take his head now... I want to get even for what he's putting me through."

Rikaria sighs. "Sometimes, the best thing to do is to go along with it. We're immortal, Colahr. You'll have another chance." She says, rolling her eyes. "Plus, there are other villages. Maybe think up a better plan next time? Try to target lone hunters. That's what Melkor here did." She adds, shrugging.

Melkor hums for a moment listening to the two before chiming in "She's right you know a Jalorak binding spell is no joke and to be honest this is my first time seeing something like that in action, to be honest I feel kinda bad for yah honestly.." Melkor states putting his cowboy hat back on and adjusting it swinging his long braid around a bit before sitting back down looking towards Colahr "I'd be lying if I said I didn't know how you feel...to be humiliated its a terrible feeling and revenge is the only cure for it...but you cant go reaching for that type of cure if that means throwing your life away.." Melkor says sounding a bit sympathetic as he spoke before returning to his boisterous voice "But hey hows about we try and return Elfy i'm sure she would love to go back and visit her family right?" He says grinning looking in the direction he would think the elf would be.

Getting the sad reality that there was no way to enact revenge burned deep. He might get a chance, certainly. He might also get to fuck fifty women and knock them full of demon spawn in under an hour.

"Fine... we take her back. Fucking old man... nghhh~... get her dressed. I'm heading to the portal."

Finally stable enough, he turned and started out and off to the portal without staying for replies. Colahr hoped he found more children belonging to the elder. Maybe he could steal the daughter AFTER they'd turned her over and leave pictures of her getting fucked and bred on the village outskirts.

[Er... You're not getting anything in return, but I'd love to see the elves' reaction to the pictures. XD Keelat, you wanna say or do anything before I make you guys head to the portal?]

Klaus peers across the river, wondering how wide it is across. "I suppose we might have to follow it until it's slim enough to jump across. Then again, hear me out for this next idea. It's not a good one, but it might be all we have. What if we were to set the acid on fire from a distance? Maybe it could burn a path? I'm not sure, but I might be willing to try."

"Yeaaaah... You try setting acid on fire, it's gonna produce toxic fumes that are going to kill us all. Didn't you ever pay attention in chemistry class?" Boyles says dryly.
"Plus it's a flowing river. It would take days for it to burn out. I say we look for a way across." Ryan says, staring at the water.

"Never said it was a good idea." Klaus grumbles, looking around them for anything of obvious use. For no real reason, he picks up a handful of sand and tosses it into the transparent river, waiting to see how it reacts.

Unsurprisingly, the sand sinks to the bottom of the river unharmed. "Oh. Looks like someone was paying attention in chemistry class..." Boyles mutters.

"How long do you suppose it might take to shovel enough sand in there to make a bridge? Again, last ditch options don't have to be the first choice, but if we don't see anything around to use, maybe it could work." Klaus tosses a few more quick handfuls into the acid to accentuate his point.

"Uh.... A few hours, at least. Maybe more. But the problem is... If we start shoveling sand, the water will start going around it. Meaning it's going to flow right over us..." Ryan mutters, looking at the water.

Klaus scratches his chin. "Yes, that's definitely the case. I'm out of it today, scratch that. Had anyone found anything else we can use?" To recover from the slip up, he resumes the search among the rest of the sailors.

"Hey... What if we take these rocks here? We could like... Roll them into the river, and use them as stepping stones! But them again, there's the possibility of it splashing onto us... Unless we put it down carefully!" Aaron pipes up, pointing to all the reddish rocks dotting the landscape.

"That sounds like a plan. Strongest sailors should get rights to the best positions when placing the rocks I'll take it?" Klaus steps up to the nearest rock.

"So... That would be... Me, Jake, Ryan, and... I suppose Mark over there." Boyles says, gesturing to another sailor, who nods. Then, they start gathering large rocks into a pile. It takes them almost an hour to collect the rocks, which they arrange neatly on the riverbank. "Oookay. Here goes nothing!" Ryan says, and kicks the first rock into the river. It rolls and splashes into the river, but thankfully, none of the acid gets on them. Then, the men rest for a while before dusting their hands with sand and carefully lowering one rock after another into the water in a chain, with Ryan at the front. Finally, they make a stepping stone bridge, and the men cross safely to the other side, breathing sighs of relief as they finally cross.

She looks over the apartments "Are they all apartments? No houses on their own? Was really hoping to get something all of my own you know?"

"Well, we do have houses on sale, but they're rather expensive. Ranging from 30k upwards." She says, looking at her with a little pity in her eyes.

Klaus keeps silent during this time, prioritizing on relaxing instead of speaking as he traces a few slapdash patterns into the sand with his finger. The drawings start off as sloppy, no more than chunky lines and stick figures, though as he gets more and more invested into the doodles, he recalls a certain animal he'd heard of once from the human world. It looked like a pinecone, with stubby legs and a thick tail, and a coating of armored scales. The creature, a pangolin, or so he'd been told, becomes roughly etched into the earth as he passes the time.

"Oi, get your butt up here, mate!" He hears a voice call out. Looking up, he sees that all the sailors have already crossed, and that he's the only one left. Doodling in the sand like a kid.

[Shit I thought he already crossed. Good job Klaus you goddamn six year old XD]

Snapped from his antics, Klaus shoots to his feet, suddenly assaulted with the embarrassing realization that he's the last one to go. Taking a second to quickly cover up his silly drawings, he steps up to the first stone, arms straight out in a "T" formation as he takes long, slow, and especially careful steps in an attempt to reach the other side.

He crosses the rocks safely, and reaches the other side unscathed.
"Alright. Let's keep moving. We don't have time to waste..." Ryan says tiredly. Klaus suddenly realises they haven't eaten or drunk since getting here, and the men are tired and hungry.

"Of course, my mistake." Klaus is ready to get moving, despite his exhaustion, but still has an eye set behind them in search of the beloved hellhound. It occurs to him that paws may not work so well on shiftily-placed rocks.

When they are a fair distance away, Klaus sees his pet follow. Pepper looks down into the acid river, before taking a few steps back, and, with a mighty leap, clearing the river in two leaps, landing on the rocks in the middle before springing off again.
Well. Looks like his fear was a little unbiased...

They travel for a long while before coming to another cave. This one is definitely empty, they can tell that much even from the outside. No tracks, no bones, no signs of life at all. Entering the cave, they start to feel more refreshed the further they go, but Klaus seems to be feeling worse. While the sailors seem to be feeling better, he seems to be getting almost... Sicker. Something was wrong here...

Klaus coughs, stopping in his tracks, before taking a few steps back towards the mouth of the cave. "Something's not right. There's no life in here either. Look, no signs of anything." He gestures to the ground with a languid sweep of his arm, before completing his u-turn and making for the exit. "There's something wrong about this place. I'm headed out for some fresh air."

Klaus wiggles his own brows, confused with the situation. "I don't know, it might just be a "me" thing. Are we absolutely hellbent on this cave, or can we go search for another? At the very least, I'll be staying outside." Fulfilling his words, Klaus slips back through the entrance, hoping that a bit of distance between himself and that cave will somehow better his condition.

Ryan shrugs. "Suit yourself." He says, going deeper into the cave. Outside, Klaus sees Pepper waiting with a bloodied maw, and the body of a smaller Ravener below. He seems to grin at Klaus before pushing the Ravener towards him with his snout, his tail wagging.

"Aw, thanks little buddy!" Klaus rubs the head of the hound lovingly, his heart warmed less by the bloodstained corpse and more so by the gesture behind it. He tears off a fair-sized chunk, leaving plenty still for Pepper, before rousing a fireball in his hands and searing the handful of meat to a desirable level. As daintily as he can manage while tearing into a dead body, he takes a bite, and then another, and another, all up until the hunk of meat is no more.

Pepper yips and ravenously munches on the rest of the corpse, bones cracking and crunching in his jaws. Then, he cuddles up with Klaus and rubs his snout into his shoulder as he licks his face.

Klaus starts petting Pepper's belly again, his other hand reaching up to scratch behind his ears as he pulls him into a sort of hug. His mantra of babytalk returns. "Good boy Pepper. You wanna stick with me, dontcha? We're gonna escort these nice sailors to the city, and you can come live with me. Would you want that buddy, wouldya? We can catch some slaves together, pull up like one big happy family."
