The Dhaal Paradox, Or How I Stopped Worrying and Learned To Love the Zaibatsu

Since I was curious, I recently went through Dhaal's main dungeon from every angle, allied with each of the zaibatsu once. And I must say that I love the way it's done.

Regardless of which company you get on with, they always seem to end up the least corrupt seeming of the three. In essence, no matter which way your Steele jumps, they're right.

I love it when a system is set up like that. It's a lot of fun.

Personally though, my standard responses to questions have me end up a Utopian Skies supporter. And it seems like you have to be careful if you want to side with Brightwater, they have more limited chances to score points in the party.

But yeah, overall I love a system like this.

Idk, paragon partner up with Beth Carver

I think of it more like a branching path. Carver and Zau are only working together if you side with Brightwater. Likewise, Dovah is only an insane Galotian if you side with Paragon.

That said, I have a fondness for siding with Utopian Skies. Corellah Dovah seems not that bad, neither does her company, and having to rescue your cousin from a drugged up cyborg is a fun jaunt.

I sided with Paragon because that seemed like the most practical choice to me. They make all the guns and heavy equipment, which can most easily be retooled into mining and construction through their partnership with Steele Tech, and if push comes to shove with the other corps will be the most useful in a scuffle.

The thing with Carver can be broken off, or (and I literally just thought about this) if we play our cards right even used to our advantage long term to actually get people out of their contracts from that bitch, kinda like what you can do with Del.
