With the 0.7.28 update I've had some fun with my new slave, Sera. I have a question though. On the wiki, it says once you get Sera up to 80% obedience, which I've done, "you seal the deal with you fucking her by doing one final tease/release cycle via Cunt Tease." What exactly does that mean, and is 80% as high as it'll go for now?

Sera's Obedience stat is incapable of going past 80%, to represent that she's never quite going to be fully obedient to you. Once you have her at 80%, do one more round of the tease/release cycle you did in order to raise her obedience and you should get an event where she becomes your willing submissive. At that point her obedience will be locked at 80% and will never go down or up.

(This is why I prefer arbitrary levels rather than percentages, or things that look like they map directly to a percentage scale)

That's a genuinely lovely way of looking at something that occurred entirely because, halfway through writing it, I decided that a 1-100 scale made the whole thing 20% too much of a slog.

Really, though. This is canon now. You do the sub Sera route, and she's absolutely, totally, four fifths your bitch.

I don't know where else to ask this question but this seems like a good spot. I haven't been able to get "The bitchening" to even start, my character is kind so do I need to be "Mischievous" or an "Ass" in order to start this quest? I already did her Disco 3000 quest, got her score past 190, got like 30 kids of hers all around the same age. When I speak with the Acquisitions I don't get any option about Sera. Is it because I've already done her main quest before this update was released?

Since successfully completing her main quest results in her getting enough money to cover for her shop, and the wiki says "Sera has a degree of debt payable to Teron and Attica in the Sentient Acquisitions". Does that mean she already paid her debt to them since you helped her before this update? If that's the case does that mean I missed out on this quest and have to reload a much older save in order to do this? If there is still a way to start this I haven't found it yet, so I'll upload a save of mine to be tested.

If you've done Sera's party to a successful degree, her debt will be paid and you will not be able to purchase her. You'll need a way earlier save or a new character to go the sub Sera route.

If you do well in the party, you shouldn't be able to buy her out anymore. That's how it's supposed to work. If you're able to breed with her, you're long past being able to fuck her over debt wise.
Doing well in her party is what gets her our of the debt. Once you help her successfully with that then you can't enslave her from that point on.

You don't need to not be Kind to get that alt path, you can do it in any personality. Though forcing her so far into debt to the point you can enslave her is still a really asshole-like thing to do.

Ah okay, so I did miss out on this character. At least I have a few older characters I haven't touched in a while, so they should be far back enough to do this route.
Still kinda wish there was a way to get her on your ship without enslaving her. Like since you helped her so much and her shop is doing well she could probably hire someone else like Jardi to look over the shop. Or like what Anno is doing run her shop from your ship, selling her goods on the various planets you visit. For example, Reaha is occasionally selling her milk even after her debt is paid off. Yammi is mentioned getting ingredients whenever your ship docks. Sera could probably do something that's a combination the three.

Game isn't yet so huge to make redoing things so much trouble. Unless your save have some hardworked PC form that costed many hous of work. THen there is always the not so clean solution: save edit to make whole part about party not happened (and eventualy then wait ingame after PC give a birth to seraspawn - thou here I think it may be needed be sacrificed to not cause any bugs when doing sub path).

After I completed the sub route i see that the punish button is faded out and that "she'll do something eventually". What triggers a punish scene after reaching 80 %?

Eventually she'll rebel and do something naughty - run away with your ship for a bit, mess up storage, change your computer password etc and then you'll be able to punish her

I'm pretty sure running away with your darn ship is a bit more than "naughty". Though I'm not sure if the crew would be against it or enjoy the joy ride messing with the player.
Man, I gotta start this sub-quest, everyone's talking about it.

It's mostly handwaved. I mean, she could crash your ship into an asteroid, but no one wants to deal with that. Not to mention it's, you know, illegal. Whether you're a slave or not.

But yeah, your crew members should have something to say about that. but then again our inter-interactions with crew members is even less than CoC at this point.

Maybe™ @Nonesuch will write follower interactions with Sera and So in the future. Probably™ only if he was getting paid for it though.

Well with some of crew members been quite much concerned about PC wellfare or jsut so hard in love toook over ship if PC is not on it could make some of Sera 'pranks' impossible.

Anyone else have a problem where Sera is at 80% but won't give you the prompt to go further? I know she can't go over 80% and that she becomes your full sex slave after you tease/release her but I've done that for like two game days and she still won't give me the prompt. Do I have to do something else?
