Text problem on CoC2 mobile

So I noticed that the text is barely readable on my device, not that the text is all over the place or something, but that the text colour (even in settings and all) makes it really hard to read, don't know if that is an issue with my device but I'd like an option to change the background colour and or text colour in all situations, because enjoying a text based game, if you can barely makeout 3 words after concentrating for 20 seconds, is a bit hard :/
(Also never had that issue on the browser, but I honestly want to play even without a internet connection)

I did, but it didn't really improve the readability.
Here's an example of the settings, dark mode improves it a bit, but not enough :/

I just checked but there are no available updates and I onl, had this phone for like 2 months :l
Edit: it's android version 10 something, is that still to old?
