After you get the first weapons pass that Asha yoinks from you, the game bugs out and lets you take your weapons onto the main floor anyway. save file for proof.

Hopefully fixed for the next release.
I'm not too familiar with the quest line, but I made it so the pathway in should be locked unless the character has both key items ("Weapons Chip" and "Weapons Pass") or is disarmed. I assume that is the original intent? If not, I can try to review it again.
