Just something that's been bothering me.
The Gabilani codex isn't one of the best, but it seems to confirm that they're natives to Tarkus, or at least its system. It says nothing about them being known of or interacted with before this rush and their planet's discovery. It does say that their species is seeking UGC membership and having trouble due to their enslaving Raskvel. If they were discovered long before their planet, this would seem like a pretty massive oversight to be missing from the codex.
But then Tamani, founder of Tamani Corp, is a Gabilani (according to the wiki at least), and while again I haven't seen it explicitly stated, it would be pretty hard to argue that Tamani Corp has only existed as part of the UGC for the last two months since the start of the current rush, given its wealth and ubiquity. That would also mean the drugs it developed, like Gush, have only existed for a few weeks.
So is this a plothole or is the wiki wrong, or am I just missing something?
