Talking About Race

Right, so I vaguely remember that there was scenes where it talked about your race so they'd say "cute human" but what if your an alien hybrid? it kinda ruins the emersion when they say "cute alien hybrid". think that instead of saying race they'd say gender? I don't know of a better way to replace alien hybrid so they'd say "cute guy/gal/herm". Anyone got any ideas on this?

The alien hybrid classification could be renamed, and would probably solve the issue indirectly. "Hybrid" or "Chimaera" might work.

I'd vote for hybrid I suppose, it's just the emersion thing that bothers me at most

It's just way too tedious to have it parse a few hundred different hybrid combinations.

oh I'm not saying to do that at all! just wish you could force the game to identify you as a race, like the way you can force it to say your gender

exacttly, my reasoning for this is for people who want to be identifyed as the species the bulk of their body shows, but added like 27 fucking toppings on their hot dog, because the wanted FLAVOR. (aka me)

I think you missed my point. Also, adding that many toppings to a hotdog generally warrants another name apply to it, like a chili dog.

The simplest system would to just keep everything as it is, but change the name of a few of the parsed phrases. Having to choose from a large set of possibilities seems like a decent bit of work, unless you could customize it like your name.
