Examining the readings of the scanners, Morgan found that they were detecting high amounts of ferrous metal, as well as many other elements not typically found in large quantities in nature. This meant one of two things: either there was the mother of all motherloads floating around in an asteroid out there, or a very large vessel was scouting the vicinity with them. Either way, they would have to get closer to confirm.
