Sydian pregnancy?

The Codex shows that Sydian females lay eggs with 3 month gestation time, but as of now, PC impregnated by Sydian male will just have 9 month pregnancy with live human children births. (It reads as Sydian kids in the 'Other' tab of the Codex, though)

Someone forgot to deal with this...

Not really. The Sydians ingame are actually mutated humans. It's part of their lore.

To expand, it's not stated in game anywhere yet but there are docs covering them, even though I've not seen them
