Not actually a bug.

this spam email assumes Steele's gender as male. maybe a joke, but i believe it is in poor taste. after all, you can be a female presenting herm, and that's what this Steele is. i think this email only goes out if you have a penis, but it might just go out regardless.

No, it doesn't require a penis to receive. Have you never been shown advertisements for things you have absolutely no interest in because the algorithm misidentifies you? These kinds of emails are sent out by the millions (billions in a universe like TiTS). I'd expect a spammer to care about a target's gender identity only insofar as it makes the target more likely to fall for the scam but given 'SPECIES DETECTION ERROR' it seems the automation's ability to accurately customize the message for the target is limited.

I think it makes it funnier, honestly. It shows how little care OP took on writting and putting together something so clearly riddled with god knows how many viruses and other things that're likely to turn your Codex into a PLATINUM (invest now before the credit crash, trust me!) mining device. Also, like Theron said, i've gotten this email while playing full femme Steeles (no dihh, that is), so I guess there's really no requirement to get it sent to you, and it's just random

I can't read, I'm a TITS fan

Nah but genuinely here, it's a spam for a reason. Spammers aren't going to respect that, especially when they can't even tell what species you belong to. That email is the exact same across all species, and all sexes, and it's done so because it's meant to be an in-game scam.

Yes, this a spam message, intentionally written badly, so don't take it as an actual address to your character and their biology/presentation.
