Stuck inside menu loop 0.9.051 public and backer

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open codex.
2. Appearance
3. Preferred Gender
4. Now you're stuck and can never exit the codex.

Same, but managed to get out of the loop by clicking on [Level Stats] and exiting as normal.

This may have something to do with the Confusing Menu & Options Screen "Back" Functionality With Escape Key reported by Fen.
