Stuck in Windy Peaks

Hello Everyone!

I've been facing an annoying problem lately, where I can get into the Windy Peaks zone through Sorra's steps, but can't go beyond a couple of tiles once I get there. I can see the tiles on the map, but they're not linked to the tiles near the entry to the zone. This has been bothering me so much. I'm not sure if there are certain conditions to be met or missions that need to be completed for the rest of the region to be accessible. Any help is welcome! Thanks!

I... assume you've hit [Explore] at least 5 times in a tile that SHOULD connect to one, same as in the Old Forest/etc?

I somehow never remember doing that in Old Forest, but I mist be mistaken. No I haven't hit explore that many times, let me try that! Thanks!
