Steam version

Is it just me or does the steam version not have the current update?

By default, the Steam version only updates with the public builds - and even then, I find I have to manually tell it to download 'cause the auto-download isn't scheduled for until many days later. If you're a backer, I hear you have to enter a code monthly to unlock the backer builds on Steam.
