"Good point. Let's go look for my bag." He says, putting his arm around her shoulder and walking with her out of the room. "I'd be pretty screwed if you hadn't showed up." He murmurs, chuckling and kissing her cheek.

"I am sure you could have figured something out... maybe... I like to think you would have at least." She gives him a weak smile.

"Well, I was about to collapse by the time you walked in. I was getting tossed around like a midget in a circus." He says, chuckling.

"I am curious as to how you know what a circus is. Regardless of that though...Perhaps we should split up and search?"

"I have no idea what a circus is. My dad used that phrase a couple of times." He says, shrugging and chuckling. "Whenever Max and I would fight- and I won, I might add. Always- I would usually win by tossing him around till he decided not to get up again. Dad found it hilarious." He says, grinning at the memory.
"But yeah. We should probably split up." He says, patting her back. "You go right, I'll go left." He says, giving her a parting squeeze to the butt as he walks away.

"Why do you two always hurt each other in your stories?!" She says in frustration before heading into the first room on her side.

Kai's first stop leads him to another old operating room. Rusty supplies are set up on trays around a nasty table that looks stained with blood.

He winces slightly at the room, but steps in to give the room a quick glance. He wasn't expecting to find anything, so he doesn't really search properly before moving onto the next room.

The next room is some sort of treatment room. There is a large chair with limb restraints and a whole bunch of machinery here. Several cabinets line the wall and an old anatomy poster sits on the floor.

Well this seems to be more interesting. He takes the anatomy chart, rolling it up and tucking it under his arm. This could be useful later. Maybe Hina could teach him something. He then starts searching the cabinets for anything useful.

Papers... papers... oh look, more papers! These are likely old patient logs... hmm, but the last cabinet on the right is locked... that is a bit fishy.

Dammit. If only he had his crowbar... He looks around for the keys, trying to find them and open the lock. Failing that, he'd try to break the lock with his nightstick.

Several frantic beatings later and the lock flops off. Inside the cabinet is an array of pills, needles and some folders.

Well... It was better to walk around naked. This shit was embarrassing...
He takes it off and takes all the pills and folders, wrapping them up in the nightgown, before moving on to the next room.

Now naked and holding a night gown full of supplies, he enter the next room only to find another operating room... this once worse than the last as it looks recently used.

He raises an eyebrow, before taking a close look around the room. Perhaps there were pills he could use later. Hina would know what to do with them.

Blood tools... lots of blood...nothing else really in here other than maybe some nightmares.

He just picks up one of the sharp tools and slips it into his nightdress bag, before moving to the next room.

Congratulations! Kai has walked into a broom closet. It is full of old dried up cleaning supplies.

Well... Broom closets sometimes had trash bags. He searches for one to use. It would be better than carrying the fragile nightgown.

Yup, there are a bunch of trash bags and crude in here. Old spray bottles long since dried up, a couple mops...a broom, nasty old towels.

He empties out one of the trash bags, before putting the stuffed nightgown in it, and moving on to the next room. He really wanted to find his bag. There was a lot of stuff in there he needed...

There are rooms upon rooms down here... finding his bag among all of this may be a wild goose chase.

He has to search anyway. He had a knife and a crowbar in there. They'd be useful later! Hmm.... Maybe it would be somewhere else, rather than in this particular corridor. He looks for a way to get back up to the receptionist's room.

[How big is this place?]

[Huge, it used to be a massive hospital.]

He would have to head back and up the stairs... joy.

[Something to compare it to, please?]

He sighs and heads back, before walking up the stairs to the lobby.

[I don't really have one... like, imagine a sky scraper but a hospital.]

With sore les he comes back out into the lobby, the dead receptionist still on the floor.

He sighs and walks over to her desk, wondering if by chance they'd have his record anywhere. He couldn't read very well, but he could read his name.

The sheer amount of papers here is baffling to say the least... mountains of it on both sides of the desk! Finding his own name, let alone anything in this mess would be a miracle.
