Souldbinding and concubinage

I don't have a thorough study of all the lore of the game but in principle Komari offers you Rindo as a concubine for the purpose of protection, the logic behind it is that if Rindo were tied to a barbarian foreigner her aggressors in the native country would not consider her a threat.

But what if you were a Soulbound? specifically being the champion of Keros would not increase Rindo's prestige in some way?

If you're the Champion of Keros, Komari's reasoning is everyone is too confused and scared of you to act against you... at least for now. While the scheming nobles in Kitsuhon are trying to see whether you're a threat or not, that will give Komari time to settle things so Rindo is okay.

That and they really dont know where you stand on the totem pole, they know its probably up there, but HOW high up there is it. BEcause as his champion your technically there right hand man, but also no really cause its Keros.

I mean us giving him our soul was kinda him getting the grand prize, well until a certain potatoe comes to be but that once again involves the champ.
