With this years female companion popularity contest, I am interested in last years results. I assume since those are old patreon post, some one could spoil them to me.

Berwyn 51%
Brint 41%
Quin 8%
Really? Quin is that low? That kind of makes me sad.You would think that a twink would be more popular than Brint. Just based on looks.
Did he at least grew a little this year?

I see it more as not many people like bunny guys and are more into bunny girls.
That, and the fact he used to be part of Tollus's cult is part of something many people can't look past; last would probably be that he's supposed to be a Resolve build and self-immolates himself most of the time - even I find it hard to work with him because to me, he acts a good bit like a playboy, even if he tries not to let his dick do the thinking.
But that's just how I see it - Berwyn's got femboy going for him and Brint's got a pretty good head on his shoulders for being a built beefcake.

Personally, I almost always have Cait & Brint with me because Cait actually heals & buffd/debuffs while Brint helps with damage. S'hard for me to use anyone else when some of them are confused as to what they wanna do.

If I could guess, along with things goo said, he does not really treat champion as anything special. At least compared to other companions. Is easier to miss or missjudge, sincle unlike other 2, he is not thrown in your lap. His personality is more in your face, and the way he refers to others companions can leave poor taste in everyones mouth.

While a lot of those things are reason why I like him, I understand why most hate/dislike/ are indifferent to him.

I thought that was obvious. How else did Hugh Hefner build his empire?

That, and the fact he used to be part of Tollus's cult is part of something many people can't look past;

Finn did the whole betrayal thing better until he got pushed to the side. Kinda like Quin apparently.

and self-immolates himself most of the time

Do you not? Is that not a thing we're supposed to do? Maybe that's why my therapist drinks whenever I see her.

Same but with Brienne instead. Either the companions are all warriors or some kind of multiclass stuff that doesn't work with the limited power selection and combat system.

Quin's just ended up having cult stigma attached to him combined with acting like a magical pick up artist. It's hard for some people to look past those things in such a story focused game. Berwyn may be a brat but he ticks the femboy box and that alone can redeem him to some. Brint is a bro but it seems a significant part of the fanbase, judging from the forums at least, don't like turbo masculine characters. Unfortunately, Quin being the least popular male companion seemed like a guarantee.

His personality is more in your face, and the way he refers to others companions can leave poor taste in everyones mouth.

For better or worse, people like Quin exist irl. It's harder to divorce him from the traits that remind players of those people when his behavior is so reminiscent of various real world scumbags. Quin strikes me as a guy who'd unironically play Super Seducer and use tactics in the game on women he meets.

Brint >>> Berwyn > Quin

Brint because he's a well rounded character, Berwyn because he's cute even if the brattiness can be a bit grating (bending him over your knee helps). Quin.... Quin just doesn't have much content or other stuff that makes him interesting. He's a resolve character and those want a team built around that mechanic. He's also pretty fragile and damages his own resolve in addition to that which means you have to baby both of his health meters now.

So he's not quite good in battle (unless you build a resolve team) which places him on par with Berwyn but his character is less appealing, so slightly less likable than Berwyn is where he ends up.

Nah, it's okay. And in case you forgot - alcohol is highly flammable, so she probably just prepares herself.
