Smuggler + pregnancy = bad?

Hello,

Pregnancies heavily reduce your evasion and smugglers depend on it. So how bad is it to get pregnant as a smuggler? Especially considering the "stealth field generator (SFG)". If I have the -70% evasion debuff, does this affect the SFG as well? Cutting it from 80% evasion to 24%. Does the debuff even affect all evasion, or just the amount gained from reflexes, not effecting consumables and clothing?

Another unrelated question: How much evasion from gear should I use as a lvl. 10 Smuggler with 50 reflexes without evasion debuff from gear? As much as possible, or is there a sweetspot or overkill? With the SFG it doesn't seem as important. Also, is the light jetpack (+ 10 evasion) a mandatory accessory?

Planning a female ranged smuggler.

It all depends upon your play style.
Here's my equipment Alice half-Kui-tan smuggler. I usually wear Augment Weave armor but I'm trying to unlock and activate the Gray goo armor (Nova's) abilities.

There are a few options:
1. You can wait out pregnancies at your apartment on Tavros.
2. Increase pregnancy speed/incubation multiplier so you spend less time pregnant: Laquine Ears, Synthwomb, Breed Hungry*, Incubator**
Pregnancies progress at the multiplier you had when they started. No retroactive speed increases.
*Also decreases effective pregnancy weight by 25%. I don't know how that interacts with Bulky Belly.
**Character creation only.

The effective Evasion cap is 90%. You can't quite get there with just gear, yet, but you can get close.
SFG was changed awhile ago to raise the cap by 40 while in use.
Remember, you get +50% from items. Light Jetpack is actually +15.

Edit: Looking at the code, it seems Bulky Belly is a function of height? Maybe you could work around it somewhat by being tall.

Once she assimilates the functionalities of the Ganrael and Janeria, Nova leaves most armors in the dust anyway, not to mention heat moderation, medical functionality and, if your playstyle leans toward lust combat, exposure.

The Modded Yellow Clothes however I would say are better in terms of raw stats, for now. With 60 Shields and a whopping 16 Evasion.
They look quite snazzy too.

I prefer the Augment-Weave armor it's perfect for me, plus it looks like the armor from Crisis.

Currently, I'm using Zaika-Style Gown (15), Rouser (10), Light Jetpack (10), Bio-Enhancement Shield (4). 69% Evasion, 200 Shields. That's when I'm using the Heavy Slut Ray. 75% if I equip the Shock Bow and 78% with the Royal Shard Bow.
Remember Cloak & Dagger gives +5 for the round after a basic attack.

Leopard Print Jumpsuit has 24 Evasion (36 for Smugglers). Complete overkill. I don't wear it because I don't like the way it's described.

Looks like SFG is somewhat overpowered then. If it gives about the same evasion as a high end setup. I'm gonna test the pregnant evasion reduction.

And for your other comment: You don't happen to know how short the long lasting pregnancies are with maxed speed?

The only thing that changes is the gun I keep the tri laser for my smuggler and Tech the armor for all of them is the Augment Weave armor but for my Mercs I use the Ageis LMG. :catte:

Best part about the goo armor is that it has a Warhammer reference and I can be a Space Marine. My first character was a Merc and the Stormbull shotgun will always have a special place in my heart. My Techie uses the custom shock gear and dam the stun is op. The actual weapon dmg isn't even that important when charge weapon goes Zap.

Yeah the only problem with my armor is I have to wait until Zheng'ze and keep fighting the Sec op Cats. It's a 10% drop.
But it's worth it.

Laquine Ears: 1000%
Synthwomb: 800%
Incubator: 100%
Breed Hungry: 100%
=
2000%
Speed is averaged with the father's bonus (always 100%, so far)
= 10.5x faster.

I should perhaps mention: Until I got to Zheng Shi, I was using the Atma Armor. Then I picked up a suit of Augment-Weave. It's really handy for stat training.
Also funny: You can't Tease while Blind (you can't see the target), but you can while the Stealth Field is up (they can't see you).

My Techie uses the custom shock gear and dam the stun is op. The actual weapon dmg isn't even that important when charge weapon goes Zap.
The best part of Stun for a Tech is the 40 Shields you get back every time it goes off (assuming 50 Int).

Okay, I did a fresh character with Incubator and used the editor for breedhungry. The used about 20 Mothertusks and 15 Laquine ears. Then got the synth womb. Yet, the codex shows the stat "pregnancy speed multiplier" as only 1700%.

I tested the speed with a male korgonne, one of the longest generic pregnancies. From 5040 hours or 210 days -> 23 dys 8 hours or 560 hours.

Edit: Preg speed multi is 1700%, fertility is 900%

Too bad most enemies won't live long enough that the regen actually matters. Also 70 int, technically 75 if i drink at the milk bar.

You really only want to use 8 Motherhusks. After that, you don't get anything but Taint.

When you used the Laquine Ears, did you get this message?
Your reproductive system has been hijacked to produce babies at ten times the normal rate, though you think your advanced immune system has kept the Laquine Ears from converting your eggs into pure-bred horse-bunnies.
If not, you didn't get the last boost to 1000%.
700% (Motherhusks) + 800% (Synthwomb) + 100% (Breed Hungry) + 100% (Incubator) = 1700%
I've found the Laquine Ears have a bad habit of inducing Heat/Rut, then clearing it with the Daydream, then repeating.

Totally forgot the Laquine ears. Motherhusk has a cap. No point using motherhusks if you're going for the maximum boost from laquine ears.

I know about the mothertusk cap. I just made sure to take enough. I don't know if I got the message. I just rushed through them. I thought 15 ears would be enough for their cap. But apparently not.
Edit: Looking at the code, it seems Bulky Belly is a function of height? Maybe you could work around it somewhat by being tall.
Tested it with two pregnancies at the minimum height, 1.2 m and the max height 3 m. Didn't change anything. Korgonne male gave me a 10% debuff 1 hour before birth and bored jumper 70% debuff 1 hour before birth.

My guess is that it affects cumflation. Every orrifice has a capacity and the bulky belly debuffs gets worse the more overstuffed you are. And bigger people have more room to work with.

Edit: Infact I did not get the message. Now I have the 2000% and cut the test pregnancy from 23 days 8h to just 20 days.

I know. I used mothertusk to get to their cap (800?) so I need less l. Ears to reach the 1000% cap and save some time.

The issue is the penalty gets bigger depending on how late term you are. Really isn't any way to avoid this as far as I know.

Yes, I don't know a work around either. CoC 2 has one, so I thought TiTs has as well.

Tits' workaround is the Nursery itself basically, when the Reflexes penalty gets so punishing as to be truly debilitating you can always stay out the rest of your term in the Nursery.

Which shouldn't be too long if you have the Breed-Hungry perk and Synth-Womb tbh... though personally I prefer Prositute Pro, eliminates Bulky Belly as a factor entirely... almost. Water Queen eggs are still a bitch., :L but I don't really mind, I'll pass the time waiting for the diabeetus princesses by breaking Sera. :D
