Sidequest Consequences?

There are some various sidequests that I have yet to complete mainly because I'm curious if there will be any potential consequences for taking certain actions that will be added in the future. For example,
Will letting the slavers keep Faizan do anything ever?
Will taking Lah back from the plantation quest by force get me on better terms with the federation instead of just haggling for him?
Will betraying Kara improve my relation with Amara or the pirate faction in the future? Will sleeping with Amara and Shade on Uveto get me the same benefit so I don't have to worry about selling out Kara?
What will be like for the Gold Myrs on Vesperia as opposed to sending them to Men'gha?

It really depends if the authors of each quest want to write any further consequences. We might never see any continuation with some of them but others might have consequences.

Lots of content hasn't even been written yet, so there's no way to answer for every side quest.

Also, the game isn't designed to be...well, designed by the player. Sometimes, you make a choice and have to live with the consequences down the road.

Or as witnessed here on the forums sometimes players make a choice and complain that they have to live with the consequences.

That, too. I'd hate to see how some folks here handle playing mainstream video games.

"Whaddya mean I can't save Alenko and then fuck Williams after Virmire?!"

The internet was made for porn... and for people to whine anonymously about anything and everything.

I imagine most, if not all, sidequests involving the Gilden Republic and/or the Scarlet Federation will come into play if/when Myrellion Peace Talks are written, influencing the potential outcomes. Letting the slavers keep Fazian will likely be considered a pro-Federation move, while rescuing him could be seen as pro-Republic, pro-Peace or neutral depending on how you spin the story.
Will taking Lah back from the plantation quest by force get me on better terms with the federation instead of just haggling for him?
Taking Lah by force will likely mean that none of Mhen'ga's natives legally obtain recognition of their sapience, opening them up for abuse by Xenogen, Pyrite, Snuggle and other less-than-scrupulous megacorps. Siding with him will drive Snuggle off-planet for now, but there's no guarantee the previous scenario won't happen anyway. Convincing the zil to negotiate with Esbeth will give them a chance to obtain legal recognition. I don't think any of them will significantly affect Steele's standing in the greater UGC.
Will betraying Kara improve my relation with Amara or the pirate faction in the future?
Probably. It'll also probably make Lysander Chow's gang pissed at you, preventing you from siding with them if that becomes an option.
Will sleeping with Amara and Shade on Uveto get me the same benefit so I don't have to worry about selling out Kara?
Maybe, but you'll probably have to not work with Kara anymore to reap the benefits.

Jitafore, not Vesperia. I'd imagine they're a lot more independent on Mhen'ga.
